Located in the back corner of a shopping center. The beer is in the back left corner of a rather nice wine store setup. They also have a bar in the back with a lot of nice local and regional craft taps. They donít have everything but what they have is pretty editorial though judging by all the sixers on tops of counters theyíre selling as much as they have room for. The on,y drawback are the prices which arenít cheap but are typical for Charlotte. All in all if I had to vote for the best bottle shop in Charlotte Iíd pick this one.

A great place to shop for bottles and enjoy a draught. It is divided nicely with beer on one side and wine on the other. I only come for the beer. Itís nice to grab a draught while looking for bottles of beer both in coolers and on shelves. They have a decent selection of bottles (pricey) with many that you can find nearby at a lower price. Servers are always knowledgeable and wonít leave you thirsty. The rotating kegs will keep you coming back. I wish they updated their website with a current draught list and had a list of bottles.

A fantastic beer selection by any measure, both draught and bottle. Itís more wine bar than anything, and very suburb adult lifestyle at that. But if thatís not your thing the beer and friendly service will more than make up for it. Tons of local and small American brewery stuff not normally seen in my travels. The import selection is very well curated. itís not huge but it is well selected. They have cheeses, snacks.

Excellent selection of beers on rapidly rotating taps. Almost every day you stop in here there will be one or two new beers including many hard to find options. The food menu is limited but everything is good. The service is friendly and knowledgeable but can get overwhelmed at peak times. The bar is pretty small but there are a good number of tables plus a little bit of seating out front. If you canít find any draft beers to suit your taste then you can choose from a huge selection of bottles.

Modern place with a wide variety of draft beers, and of course you can buy a bottle out of one of the fridges, or off the shelves, and drink it on premises. They have a handful of unusual finds that I havenít seen at other stores in the area, and their prices are lower than the places closer to the city center. Worth a stop.

This is a wine-first store but does have plenty of beer. If you desire a pint while you shop there is a bar inside with plenty of quality taps. Last I checked, due to NC state law which only allows breweries to fill growlers, growlers are not available here. Beer prices are on the higher end, especially for singles. I didnít find anything super rare, but there is a good selection.

Very nice little place tucked away in a high end strip mall. Nice beer selection and a small bar in the back corner with a very nice tap selection. Had Struise Damnation IV and BR Ryevalry on tap. Pints were appropriate priced and all the bottles were available as singles which was awesome. The only problem with this place is the food. I ordered the short rib sliders with chips which I must say was an absolute rip off for $12. 3 of the smallest sliders I have ever seen and all it was just rewarmed dryed out short ribs with a bowl of well seasoned chips. If you are going to charge $12 for small portions it should at least taste good and not just reheated. Granted this is not a restaurant, but donít charge those type of prices then. Next time I would go with a cheese and meat platter instead. Definitely worth a stop for beers, but I would grab a bite somewhere else first.

This place is a nice spot to buy beer. Itís split basically in half the left side being beer the right side being wine. Plenty of singles in the coolers and lots more on the warm shelf. Great selection of locals as well as a nice bit of semi-obsure stuff. Oddball Hitachino, Fantome, Mikkeller, etc beers. The prices are nice as is the focus on singles. The staff was very freindly both times we went in and seemed pretty enthusiastic about beer, so thatís always nice. There is a bar in the back with really nice tap offerings. If you pay cash you get a discount so thatís a plus as well. I really wish I had a place like this round Des Moines.

I have heard good things about this place so I figured that I would check it out for myself.
Located in a strip center, it is easy to overlook with all of the other nondescript shops. The place has a small European boutique feel. More focused on wine than beer, they still have a very respectable beer selection. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. All of the beer is priced as singles, with the prices clearly marked, which is a huge plus. The selction is quite extensive, if fact it may be as good as Brawleys in that aspect. I think the biggest draw is the bar with around 16 taps, all of them devoted to craft. The draft prices are fairly reasonable, but the bottle prices seem a little high.
Overall, this is a terrific place to come have a couple of beers and buy a hard to find bottle or two. I think Brawleys may still have the edge for my normal everyday purchases, but this is a nice place to have a beer while shopping.
