This place is awesome! Stone Ruination, Dieu du Ciel Peche Mortel, Lagunitas Gnarleywine, among other awesome selections. Great pizza; try the Waldo choice cuts on honey wheat crust. Great service from knowledgeable cicerone certified beer servers. The ambiance is the worst part: a lot of families with little kids in a damn loud space. It’s worth braving the crying babies for the pizza and beer.

Ah man, this place is awesome, minus all the stupid brat kids bought by douches who don’t watch their kids, but this place was easily my favourite stop in KC.. Great pizza, some of the nicest i ever remember eating (even though i lost my leftovers sometime during the evening when we left) .. great friendly servers and bartenders.. great selection, good diversity in the bottles (like abacus, and bourbon old stock) and generally just a nice place to visit. i would go every weekend if i lived in KC..

Went to rate this after a visit over the weekend, and was quite surprised to find that it had not been entered in the DB. Interesting tap selection, they have Lindeman’s which you don’t see at most pizzerias. Bottle selection is quite diverse, and has Bell’s, Arcadia and North Coast, which I have not seen at any other spot in KC (granted, I am new here). I had a beer from Guatemala, it was awful, but when am I going to be able to drink a beer from Guatemala and eat pizza again? The pizza is great, too. NOTE - the beer list on their site was not entirely accurate when I reviewed. If there is something you see on it you need to have, I would call ahead.

They have a great beer selection and great food. The establishment seems to be a neighborhood bar but the atmosphere is very welcoming and enjoyable.

sometimes there are tons of kids here on the weekend, be warned. besides that ambiance is neighborhood pizza place that is well cleaned. really great staff, knowledgeable and friendly. while they dont have a bazilliaon taps they always have something interesting and seem to get almost every special release. really good pizza but its a bit pricey. The beers however are some of the lowest priced in town, the seem to have a set arkup that they dont go past, even if the market would bear it. Kansas City Classic.

One of the best places in town to get great beer. They have a vast list by style of bottles and always have a solid selection of brews on tap, normally for the best prices in town. The only thing better here than the service and beer is the pizza, which you can custom make from all kinds of crusts, sauces and toppings. A gem.

ate beer and drank here while wife was attending a conference had a Ciabatta Bread Pizza OMG it was awesome the beer selction was crazy it was a friday night so it wad alot of people in it was really impressed with selection and service found new place to eat and visit when in KC

It took me a while to get here but once I went I have been in love. This is my favorite beer spot in KC. Particularly, b/c of the selection and price. Its not the best selection I have ever seen and while the selection is good its not miles above the other places in town. But their beers are well picked out and greatly priced. Oberon pitchers are a steal. Bottle prices, maybe the best I have ever seen. Samples are a ridiculous bargain. I can always come here and find something I actually want to drink. Who ever picks out the taps knows what they are doing. Food is fun as well. Some interesting treats on there, check out the ice cream. It can get packed on a Saturday with families, young adults, older adults. Its appeals to a lot of people. If you visit one place in KC, I would say either go here and walk to 75th Brewing or the Westport Foundry/McCoy’s/Beer Kitchen combo. This one will be lighter on your wallet. Nothing special about the ambiance, a bit kitsch, which is cool and very unpretentious. Love the bathroom decoration.

Very nice visit. Excellent selection of beer both bottled and on tap. Waitress was very sharp. Pizza was very good. Will visit again many times!

I drove forever and didn’t see *any* place that I thought I might like to eat and drink at and then I find this nice strip of shops with Waldo Pizza right in the middle of it. Kind of an older place with nice decor on the wall. They had a buffet but we skipped that and ordered from the menu. Nice selection of beers and flights were also available. The pizza was excellent!
