I drove forever and didnít see *any* place that I thought I might like to eat and drink at and then I find this nice strip of shops with Waldo Pizza right in the middle of it. Kind of an older place with nice decor on the wall. They had a buffet but we skipped that and ordered from the menu. Nice selection of beers and flights were also available. The pizza was excellent!

This place is awesome! Stone Ruination, Dieu du Ciel Peche Mortel, Lagunitas Gnarleywine, among other awesome selections. Great pizza; try the Waldo choice cuts on honey wheat crust. Great service from knowledgeable cicerone certified beer servers. The ambiance is the worst part: a lot of families with little kids in a damn loud space. Itís worth braving the crying babies for the pizza and beer.

Great place to visit for good pizza and good beer. A bit crowded and we had too many people for the booth they put us in, but still a great place. Vegan options are nice. Flights are available also with a decent beer selection, including some local things. Worth a visit.

Pretty cool local pizza place that happens to have an awesome beer selection. I would estimate their tap selection is up to about 20 now. Things you might not know: four 5oz tasters of anything on tap for only $5. The have a pizza/salad buffet Mon-Sat for lunch. Iím typically afraid of buffets but everything they offer is awesome. If you find yourself south of downtown KCMO, stop here.

Has really become one of my favorite places in town to enjoy a draft beer. The beer selection is not huge (about 20 or so taps), but is extremely well-chosen and they always have something I want. Service and pricing are both very good. Decor is pretty low-key. Lots of hipsters present at all times. Food selection is lacking a bit in the variety department, but they do have very good pizza and sandwiches. Plus, the place is called "Waldo Pizza", so canít really fault them for it at all. Extra special bonus points awarded for the salad bar which has REAL BACON for the bacon bits. Hell yes. All in all, great place to have some pizza and/or beer.

I donít get it. Maybe my expectations were too high, but this place was awful. It is kind of a run down pizza shop that hasnít had any updating since 1982. The beer selection was very good, but that is really the only redeeming quality. My beer was warm, and one was a pilsener. Not just room temp, but warm. Service was garbage, though they did seem to know at least a little about the beer. Ambience is bad. Food is horrible. Is this what passes for pizza in KC?

The food is excellent (gluten free and vegan friendly is available), the location is spot-on and while the number of beers on tap are not up to speed they do have a very good selection for a local. Canít fault the place.

They have a great beer selection and great food. The establishment seems to be a neighborhood bar but the atmosphere is very welcoming and enjoyable.

sometimes there are tons of kids here on the weekend, be warned. besides that ambiance is neighborhood pizza place that is well cleaned. really great staff, knowledgeable and friendly. while they dont have a bazilliaon taps they always have something interesting and seem to get almost every special release. really good pizza but its a bit pricey. The beers however are some of the lowest priced in town, the seem to have a set arkup that they dont go past, even if the market would bear it. Kansas City Classic.
