For northern MN this place has a superb selection. I went in here in December and there was BCBS sitting on the shelves - very impressive for Duluth. The staff is young and they really donít know a whole lot about beer but thatís OK. And the prices are high as others have said. This place gets bonus points for being one of the only places to carry Borealis Fermentery. If you are passing through Duluth and heading up the North Shore for a vacation or spending some time in town make sure you stop here. Itís out of the way if you are staying around Canal Park but itís worth it and only about a 15 minute detour.

Great selection, especially for Duluth. Tons of American singles and 6-packs. Lots of beers from the UK and Belgium as well. Some beer was very outdated, such as Surly Smoke being available in late August. Overall a fun place to stop by, will definitely be back.

Tremendous store - stopped here on Nov. 17, 2011. Huge selection of singles, and if you are looking to pick up MN or WI beers, this is your place. Also a good amount of imported craft beers, as well as others from around the USA. Also saw they had bottles of Surly 5, Darkness, and Smoke sitting in one of the coolers.

Great store just before the Miller Hill area. Prices were a bit high for rarer beer, but the selection reminded me of premier in Buffalo, with a midwest twist. Surly, Summit, Schells, rush River, Tyranena are all here, ditto Bells, Great Divide, etc. No New Glarus sadly. Service was great, grabbed several new beers, including Schell Rauch on the owners recommendation. Fairly good selection of Belgians and UK beer as well. The best place in Duluth by far. Iíll be back.

Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. By far the best beer store that I have been to so far in Northern Minnesota. Lots of singles, with mostly American stuff, but also some Belgians and a few other random countries. Prices are average to a little above. Friendly service. A good place, especially for this region.
Re-rate: Turnover doesnít seem to be great at this place, and while they do get good stuff, they are unwilling to break up some 6ers, and they are very slow at getting many things in (if they ever do). Cashwise is now almost as good as them, if not better in some ways.

Stopped on way up to Orr, MN for a fishing trip. A little shop that literally feels like it is collapsing due to the weight of all of the beer inside it. (Really, the floor is sloping towards the middle). A ton of single bottles and six-packs to choose from, but I found the prices a little high. I feel ashamed that I left with some crappy canned beers, but hey - I stopped to get canned beer to keep in the live well of the boat!

Great selection of singles. This may be the best bottle shop in MN outside the Twin Cities. They have everything from macros to micros to Belgians. If you’re in Duluth this is a great place to stop in.

Very large selection of singles. Staff was friendly but didnít offer any help. The location is out of way but the impressive selection makes up for it, especially if you are not coming from the Twin Cities. A few of the beers were on the expensive side. I would guess the selection is more like 500 than 300.

Finally stopped by here on my last trip up. Itís kind of out of the way and not close to Fitgers, but well worth a stop. Big selection of singles and a few shelves of six packs. Mostly MN/WI/MI beers, but enough to keep people happy.
