56 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 puboflyons (64) Allenstown, New Hampshire | May 13, 2012 This is an above average package store. It is small and it has a decent selection of beers but nothing you cannot find elsewhere. They had a reasonable selection of some local or regional favorites such as Cambridge, Pretty Things, and Sam Adams but I did not see other favorites such as Berkshire. There are dry shelves and a few coolers with all the BMC products. It is located next to a Whole Foods so you can pick your groceries after. | 76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 pinto1993 (3) Revere, Massachusetts | December 11, 2009 These guys do a great job keeping the beer selection fresh. For a small store they offer great variety and a fair price. | 78 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 phiconners (3) Massachusetts | March 25, 2009 I find the selection to be very good - Stone (including seasonals), Port, Avery, Bear Republic and more. Definitely beers you can’t find in your average store. Staff are nice, some very knowledgeable on beer. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 coliver6285 (1) | April 22, 2006 Definitely improved the bottle-conditioned selection. Also added some hard to find American beers (Moylans, Jolly Pumpkin, Two Brothers). A couple of the guys, esp. Steve, had great beer knowledge.
Good location next to Whole Foods. | 56 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 10/20 muzzlehatch (255) Burlington, Vermont | June 17, 2005 What Clark said. Nothing you can’t find in a million other places in the state, only reason to go here is if you’re visiting or robbing Clark or you like Whole Foods. Nice looking place, looks like it’s pretty good for medium to slightly high-end wines. | 58 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 10/20 ClarkVV (90) Allston, Massachusetts | February 7, 2005 Pretty much walked in and walked out. Nothing here worth mentioning. Lindemans fruit lambics, chimay, duvel, couple unibroues, hop devil, prima pils, some locals. Boring. Well laid out though, with an impressive wine selection. Most of the beer is kept in coolers as well. Good location next to Whole Foods. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 OldGrowth (138) North Carolina | November 27, 2004| Updated August 10, 2006 Part of a big box store. I haven’t got any help other than the register. Fair New England selection, so so national crafts, typical BMC. Ok Euro selection. Should be able to find something you like here. Plenty of parking. |
