The restaurant is located just at the ’begining’ of Neustadt in modern building, interior is more traditional. The service was good. There was short selection of house beer, great Das Pils, Altpieschener Spezial and Pieschner Hafenbier and the pils is why you visit Watzke. The food was good, no long waiting. Prices - reasonable, could of course be lower :). In overall - nice place. And for Das Pils you must visit one of the Watzke locals.

Food ok but a bit overpriced. No seasonal beers on when I visited in Aug.2012 and although I enjoyed the unfiltered pils but didn’t think much of the Altpiesch. Pity no schwarzbier as in Saxony afterall...

The second outlet of Watzke, just across the river from the main monuments in Dresden. Inside a modern building, with also some outside seating, nice view. Beer list is identical to Watzke Ball- und Brauaus (normally two standard beers and a seasonal), food is different, somewhat simpler dishes. Handy location, but if you can, go to the source

Unspectacular, but cozy pub, quite packed for lunch on a Saturday. Had two seasonal beers on tap (a smoked and a Christmas bock) plus the regular Pils and the Altpieschener. The food was standard fare, though not cheap, service was friendly. Good for a few comfortable ticks.

Just across the river from the old town. A nice surprise to find a micorbrewery here, but both the beer and the food is about average. The beer was okay, but the Flammkuchen was a bit disappointing.

Pleasant for those, who do not want to leave the city centre for some reasonable beers: ample, semi-traditional pub at the beginning of the "wild" suburban quarter of "Neustadt", the part of Dresden, that wasn’t destroyed during WW II, but nearly during the times of GDR..... You’ll find here the two regular Watzke brews plus one monthly changing seasonal. The partly covered patio offers a good view over the Elbe to the newly erected Frauenkirche and other Dresden attractions. Worth a visit!
