This store does not have a good selection at all. Sure, there are some beers here that out-of-towners might be happy to find, but the selection is really poor. The staff is not well informed either. There is nothing worse than trying to talk to a person in a beer store about beer when they have no idea what you are saying.

Limited on street parking. I had no problem getting a spot on a Saturday afternoon. You have go through the market part and go into a separate bigger room which has beer, wine, and liquor. The beer is in the back. Some refrigerated, a few singles, a pretty nice variety of american beer.

Much better than North End Market. Better selection, better prices, and nicer people.

After finding out that this liquor store had a pretty good beer selection, I had to find out just how good it was for myself. I went there in the middle of the day. Parking is not very good but I was able to find a spot. There is parking beside the building and around back. When you walk in, you have to go through a deli and convenience store section and head to the left. The alcoholic beverages (aside from the cheap beer) are all located in a separate room that takes up half of the store. There are many beers to choose from in the refrigerated sections and then there are a couple rows of singles. The pricing is very fair. As far as hospitality goes, the only person I came in contact with was a bit grumpy. I can forgive that though because there was a local festival going on that he probably wanted to be at. This place is definitely worth the visit if you aren’t interested in traveling the extra fifteen minutes to the House of Wines.
