On the positive side, an old-school kind of place. A bit grittier old-man-dive-ier feel than most places in the neighborhood. No attempt to cater to the beer geek crowd, just the old seattle microbrew crowd. Tonight there are what...5 different old school IPAs on tap? A bunch of porters and such. None of that sour ale fru-fru stuff. No saisons. This an ’merican bar.
Staff is less than thrilled when I ask which breweries the various IPAs are from. Prices are stiff--six bucks for a standard IPA in a dive bar. Food is far from good.
With Fiddler’s just up the road to satisfy your unpretentious local watering hole needs, I can’t see why anyone would ever come here.
And that 84 from a rater who has one place rating and 0 beer ratings? Yeah. Sure.

I love the WWAH. Fantastic service, never crowded, great burgers, and they’ll keep a tab open for you without your card, all old-school-like. Pints are kind of expensive, but usually a good selection. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.
