Great place in Chicago, they have a strong variety of Chicago, Mid-West, National, and International beers. It is a small place, they do cram a lot in a small area.

Small place, with floor-to-ceiling bottles. Cozy. Very friendly gentleman on staff willing to spend lots of time with me giving recommendations and just chatting about beer. Prices were fairly high, but relatively consistent with other prices I saw in Chicago. The selection is really where this place shines; local, near-local, U.S., and European brews in huge numbers. Would love to visit here again when Iím in Chicago.

completed a mail order of some pipeworks and single barrel bourbons. quick delivery and well packed. My only negative would be a small selection compared to what I imagine they have in the store. Would use again if searching for a specific beer.

Placed order online. Website ordering was simple and easy to use. Packaging was good and no damaged bottles. Pretty good selection of bombers, with a ton of Chicago locals. Good online bottle shop, will have to visit one day to see what the selection is like in-store.

Stopped in while in Chicago and was underwhelmed. A pretty good beer store, but small, and how the hell this is Chicagoís second best rated place is beyond me.

Came here based on the high reviews. Was not disappointed. The only thing I did not expect was how small the place was. The retail area was quite cramped, but they make use of every inch they can within manageability. More single bottles than Iíve ever seen in one place, bombers and standard 12 ozs both prevalent. Six packs are in their smaller refrigerated section, but most things they have in their are accessible from Binnys or even some supermarkets. You come here for the great and often very hard to find/obscure single bottles.
I was very impressed by the one staff member that helped me out. He knew his stuff, and was eager to help out and make small talk. My new favorite go-to whenever Iím in the area.

Visited a number of times in my trip to Chicago in July/August 2010.
The place is divided in two. Half is the liquor store and half is a deli/convenience store. Apparently there is a cellar as well but thatís off limits to customers.
Tons of bottles to choose from including lots of imports (Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Mikkeller, Nogne, etc), some locals, and a few random beers. Plenty of fridge space and shelf space that is all filled to capacity. Some random bottles seem to show up but they are not new releases, just left over from the last release. Not bad in most cases but just somethign to be aware of. Also lots of liquor, but as I have no interest in liquor I didnt pay much attention.
The people that work there really know their beer. The regular customers that I saw come in were all helped and seemed happy with what they got.
Didnt pay attention to prices all that much as I had too much beer to bring home in the suitcase already and only bought 2 bottles.
