This is by far the best bottle shop I have ever encountered in the city of chicago. I ended up staying and talking beer for about a half an hour. Needless to say this place is a must for any beer enthusiast.

This place was awesome!! We walked in saying we’re from perth and in the craft industry and they opened arms immediately. Had an amazing range of threefloyds etc and even opened beers with us the shop. Was a great experience and showed why they’re number 1... must come here

Smaller than expected on the inside, but I’ll be damned if they don’t make the most out of that small space. Excellent assortment of beers, tons of locals but also a great selection of craft imports & non-local options as well. Pretty nice glassware & clothing available for sale as well. If you’re anywhere close, you definitely need to make a stop here. This was better than all of the Chicago Binny’s locations I’ve been to so far.

Pain in the ass with traffic to get to this place from out of town (Wednesday early afternoon). Two dedicated parking spots out back and on street parking, no problem when I went. Smaller selection, descent local selections, some harder to get Belgians, but nothing I haven’t seen at several other places in the US. Prices are above average for the area. Service really wasn’t that good for a boutique type store. I bought four bottles. It would probably be cool if this place was my local, but it isn’t and unless I know they have something I was really looking for I wouldn’t return. Really surprised this place is the highest rated bottle shop in the Chicago area, I would check out Lincoln Park Binny’s.

WLV is definitely a place to stop at if you’re traveling to Chicago, with the city’s best selection of Belgian brews. I think you can find a larger quantity of Belgian’s at Binny’s, but I feel the selection here is better curated, with a real focus considering the small size of the store. They also work well with locals such as Pipeworks, and they are the only place in the city that brings in special domestic breweries such as Jester King. Definitely a place to go to if beer hunting in Chicago.

Stopped by with charule. Definitely worth the trip out there. Value is on par with the rest of the city but they definitely get the harder to get stuff. Selection isn’t huge but it is very well thought out. Definitely worth the trip.

Nice shop. Smaller then I imagined but ever usable space is covered in alcohol. Decent prices. Smaller selection bit of high quality. Out of my way but if Im around the beighborhood will stop in without question.

Having had more than one satisfying experience ordering from these good folks, I was tickled to hit the shop itself on my most recent visit to Chicago. Definitely tucked away in a cozy neighborhood, warm and relaxed vibe. Very cramped but maximally efficient use of space. Excellent but unobtrusive service. Absolutely killer selection of brews, including loads of wonderful Euro imports. I was there, however, for Pipeworks and other locals. I did not leave disappointed. Great place.

There’s a lot of rare beer in a small shop (both domestic and imported). Also a great destination for glassware too. Didn’t really pry too much into the beer knowledge of the employees - although they were attentive - but by the selection, i gotta say they probably know their stuff. Just visiting this place expanded my beer wishlist significantly. Mostly bombers and 750’s with a handful of sixers.
