Update -- Iíve placed a couple orders with them in the past and have wanted to place another but I canít get them to reply to me. They do a great job of constantly updating the new arrivals page but good luck actually being able to order any of those, even if it says in stock. I tried searching for several different beers listed under "new arrivals" (and no, I wasnít looking under "upcoming") to add to my cart and each time I do a search I cannot find the beer. Sometimes they get something restocked but donít seem to update the availability through search so no dice adding those to your cart either. The search function as a whole is brutal and ultimately I give up. Their selection is incredible, or at least what they list is incredible, but who cares if I canít actually order any of them? Iím sure itís much better in person. Oh well. First order -- Online order. This is my first order from them and overall Iím pleased. There was one little glitch however, half the stuff I ordered on the website wasnít really in stock. But they were helpful and patient when I was finding replacements. The website is pretty good, the search feature isnít the best but overall I had no trouble navigating. The selection is very good. Youíve got the local heavyhitters like Three Floyds and Goose Island but also a good selection of imports. The box arrived quickly and the packing insane, this indeed was bomb proof. Shipping was a tad high but they donít charge a packing/supplies fee so overall Iíd say the cost to ship was very good. Iíd order from them again.

This place is da bomb. There is a reason this place itís number 1. Friendliest and most helpful staff ever. The selection is mind numbing. So much quality stuff here. Pricing is very reasonable. Just come here when youíre in town.

Smaller than expected on the inside, but Iíll be damned if they donít make the most out of that small space. Excellent assortment of beers, tons of locals but also a great selection of craft imports & non-local options as well. Pretty nice glassware & clothing available for sale as well. If youíre anywhere close, you definitely need to make a stop here. This was better than all of the Chicago Binnyís locations Iíve been to so far.

Pain in the ass with traffic to get to this place from out of town (Wednesday early afternoon). Two dedicated parking spots out back and on street parking, no problem when I went. Smaller selection, descent local selections, some harder to get Belgians, but nothing I havenít seen at several other places in the US. Prices are above average for the area. Service really wasnít that good for a boutique type store. I bought four bottles. It would probably be cool if this place was my local, but it isnít and unless I know they have something I was really looking for I wouldnít return. Really surprised this place is the highest rated bottle shop in the Chicago area, I would check out Lincoln Park Binnyís.

WLV is definitely a place to stop at if youíre traveling to Chicago, with the cityís best selection of Belgian brews. I think you can find a larger quantity of Belgianís at Binnyís, but I feel the selection here is better curated, with a real focus considering the small size of the store. They also work well with locals such as Pipeworks, and they are the only place in the city that brings in special domestic breweries such as Jester King. Definitely a place to go to if beer hunting in Chicago.

Stopped by with charule. Definitely worth the trip out there. Value is on par with the rest of the city but they definitely get the harder to get stuff. Selection isnít huge but it is very well thought out. Definitely worth the trip.

Having had more than one satisfying experience ordering from these good folks, I was tickled to hit the shop itself on my most recent visit to Chicago. Definitely tucked away in a cozy neighborhood, warm and relaxed vibe. Very cramped but maximally efficient use of space. Excellent but unobtrusive service. Absolutely killer selection of brews, including loads of wonderful Euro imports. I was there, however, for Pipeworks and other locals. I did not leave disappointed. Great place.
