A roomy and inviting local brewery in a nice part of town. Friendly staff, nice selection of West Sixth taps, plenty of room to sprawl out. I like the rocking chairs and local flair.

lotís of open space. Out of both of the experimental taps. Only five beers to try. Nice service. Lots of hipsters for 1:00PM on a Saturday. Place had a weird smell.

Nice sized brewpub in quiet residential area - quite a bit of seating, especially outside. Had 5 of their own beers on tap (just ran out of a 6th on my visit). Food truck outside or you can order delivery. Pleasant place.

West Sixth has done a real nice job with the old bread factory- very clean set-up, good seating with reclining seats, nice beer garden area with large windows into the brewery area. Plenty of places to sit. Service is friendly, and answered my questions about their beers, etc. without too many issues. They now typically have around eight beers on tap- all their own beer. Their hoppier beers, especially their excellent IPA, are the main draw here, but they do other styles in an able manner. One issue I have is with their flights being pre-determined- you can build a custom flight, but itís a few dollars more. W6, like Country Boy, favors the food trucks, and like CB often has Habanero Loko, which is kinda incredible. They also have spicy pretzels/beer cheese on site, which is quite tasty. They sell cans of their IPA and Amber to go for about 10 dollars/sixer. Iíd like to see a bit more variety in their regular tap offerings, some more guest taps (especially from the state/region) but otherwise these guys are establishing themselves as a regional favorite.

This is a hip brewery located in the middle of a neighborhood. The building has a large tasting room and a separate events room with all kinds of stuff going on in it like yoga and other workshops throughout the week. The tasting room is spacious and open. Canned beer and growlers are both available for take out. There are a few rotating taps among the selection of nine drafts. When I first walked in a potent aroma of hops struck me along with the obligatory mash smells. West Sixth feels more like a modern, progressive brewery than many others in the south. They also know how to properly use hops.

Very nice place. They only serve beers brewed in house, though that isnít much of an issue since they brew some great beers. They donít have a kitchen but do have food trucks during the weekend and some locally made snacks such as soft pretzels and beer cheese.

Most of the awesomeness about west 6th is the only packaged beer they make, the west 6th ipa in a can. Its a great beer and its always fresh since its local and its at most places around town. They have a small selection of beer with only 5 or 6 taps, im pretty sure its 6 with 5 regular and 1 for rotation. The rotating tap has had some pretty awesome beers on it. the service is pretty good with eager bartenders to take your order. I rated the food so because even though they dont serve food, they tend to have one of the amazing food trucks there providing great eats to go with good beer. the only reason i knocked the ambiance is because this place is a little to spacious and makes that click type of social feeling, its great for large groups because of the space though. overall its an awesome installation in the Lexington Beer scene.

Stopped here for a few beers early afternoon, the place was pretty much empty. Very cool place with a nice bar and some other big areas for hanging out, this place could really hold a lot of people. Service was incredible, the bartender was super cool and had a lot of recommendations of what to do in the area. Selection of beer was alright, they had about 4 regular beers and one special offering, all pretty solid. Prices are about average. If youíre in the area you really need to stop by here.

What a great brewery. Tried a sampler, and was quite impressed. They brew very good beers. Talked with Joe and Ben, the owners, very friendly and knowledgeable. We paid $3 for a grwler, canít beat that. Definitely worth the trip. When we head back to Lexington, this will be one of our stops.
