Riserva release íopen houseí. What can you say, its a brewery that gives out free samples and allows you to mix and match cases (a big plus in PA). I will be heading out for any other future special releases...

We got a little lost finding this, when Morgan Hill Road starts to turn into Philadelphia Road, look for a small green sign that says Cheston School with an arrow pointing you the right way down Line Street, youíll never see the Line Street sign! Great brews, nice tour (our guide John was most informative) and folks do get friendly while sampling the brews! The make your own case feature is special, and the prices canít be beat. The pour staff couldnít have been more accommodating, they made everyone feel like they were practically the only one there, while simultaneously taking care of all requests for tastes. It doesnít take a big factory to make great beer, it takes great people, and Weyerbacher has that in abundance!

A fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Typically you can mix/match 8 different beers in a case at a decent price - probably close to what you pay at a beer distributor - but itís your own selection. The real treat is that you can also taste every variety that you can then purchase. That way you have no bad surprises. The tour is basic - after all itís a warehouse turned into a brewery - and it really isnít needed if all youíd rather do is sample and buy. The day I was there was about a week before their raspberry beer was to be released, but they drew a few bottles off the fermenter even before carbonation! I would like to see a brown ale or ESB in their offering, but Weyerbacher specializes in big beers, so that is not likely. Nonetheless this is a great Saturday diversion. Will definitely return!

The tour is okay - facilities are more utilitarian than showy - but the sampling afterwards is the main point. The friendly staff is very generous, and youíll be friends with the other customers in no time. The mixed cases are priced according to what you put in them, and I recommend stocking up while youíre there.

Finally got to the brewery on a Saturday...nice use of an old warehouse space. Focus on Brewing not Showyness. Very friendly staff and a hometown feel. Nice bit on the mix and match case, and they take plastic! I think Iíll buy all my weyerbacher at the brewery now. Get there if you can

One of my favorite East Coast Breweries, and only about an hour North of my house. Basically a warehouse turned brewery with stacks of cases everywhere. Tours/tasting only on Saturday, but its worth it for the low priced mix/match cases. Friendly staff, happy to pour anything they have. Make sure to stop by Wich Brew for a few more after your visit.

Not much of a tour or a place but worth the trip for beer sampling. Had Insanity, Blithering Idiot, Quad, Hops Infusion, Merry Monks, and many others on draft. Picking up bottles at the brewery is great because they are pretty well priced compared to what youíll pay anywhere else. Plan on going again so I can stock up.

Was here for the 2006 Open House. A couple hundred people in attendance. They had things set up nicely with the owners, brewers and other works around to answer questions and chat about their beers. Nice to be able to mix a case of whichever Weyerbacher beers you want that they currently have in stock. The only downside is three of the beers they put in my mixed case were without labels. They hand packed these cases as you wait so you know they know that they were putting bottles in the case that did not have labels. Luckily it was a Quad, Heresy and Hops Infusion that were not labeled which made it fairly easy to hold up to the light to figure out which was which. still not a cool move on their part though. Other than that I was kind of surprised by how small their operation was, but it was kind of cool that they have a small bar set up in their brewery/warehouse and open it to the public on Saturdays for samples and to purchase their beers in growlers and mixed cases.
