Medium sized bar with plenty of wood décor and the brew master behind the bar pouring the suds. It was empty when I arrived shortly after opening but filled up rather quickly during my visit. The beers were decent and the owner/brew master/bartender/toilet cleaner was friendly and obviously knowledgeable. A reasonably priced sample platter of seven and a bowl of pretzels hit the spot on this visit. The owner also gave me the heads up that a brand new brewpub was opening just down the street – much appreciated. As this is on the way in/out of Grand Rapids for me, I’m sure to be back. They had seven beers on tap, no food that I know of and I’m not sure about parking, I just kind of parked in what I perceived to be an open spot.

Nice little place to get a beer. They only had 7 beers on tap, but that is not bad for a place just starting out. Very friendly staff. Like others said, parking sucks.

Small place with no parking at all, there is a nice new taproom and selection of what I would expect from a small micro-brew. The beer is good, but nothing surprising. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great spot for locals.
