Ok prices. Good service well lit and clean. (It’s Whole Foods). Solid selection but nothing super rare. They did have KBS in at market prices and were going to hold some for me when I found out their price (which was reasonable market) was not for a 6 pack but a single bottle. Decent place and many of the beers are refrigerated. Ok foreign selection much better domestic seleciton.

Bottle shop and food market around the bock from New Beer Distributors. I found that most of the beers here were also available at New Beer, where they were slightly less expensive. They did have a few beers that had sold out at New Beer that I picked up. Worth visiting if you are in the area, but not really a destination place for me.

The staff are really helpful here. Nice tastings as well. Good selection. I really like it here and often make the 50 block trip to find some new things. Not as big as New Beer but I find it more user-friendly...

Good sized Whole Foods with its only little beer store that is probably the best by far that I have seen from a Whole Foods. Growlers, home brew supplies, and nice selections of both regional and import bottles. They have it all. Not a whole lot of rarities, but they do get all of the good stuff it just happens to sell fast.

I think it is odd but this is the best selection in the city in terms of breadth, depth, and comprehensiveness. they have way more than 200 different bottles, I’m guessing more in the 500 SKU neighborhood.. And the prices are 10-20% less than most other "reasonably" priced stores....really counterintuitive for Whole Foods right!?! You can also buy home brewing supplies. When the staff is a beer person they seem very knowledgable. Oh and you can buy cases and have them delivered through the main supermarket. Between this and New Beer Distribution down Chrystie St you’ve got the most selection and the best prices in the city.

A supermarket with a good beer section. Quite a lot of American and international beers, decent prices but most beers can be found cheaper at NBD. Very good opening hours. Worth visiting.

For most places in the world, this is a good beer store. There are many beers, and the prices are not ridiculous. I suppose you don’t find those quote/unquote rare beers here, but there are plenty quality beers, which I am sure most people have not had. So what is the down-side? New Beer Distributors is only a few blocks away and their prices are usually a dollar or so lower than those at Whole Foods. Emelisse Rauch was 5 bills here, but only 3 at NBD. It is also a bit difficult to find Belgian singles for less than $5; in fact, most cost six. This place is good, but the competition is better. I would only suggest this for times when NBD is closed (sadly, that means most convenient times).

Visited in August 2012. I really like Whole Foods Market, I wish we could have a grocery store like this in Sweden. The selection was good and the prices very low for most beer. A sixpack of Dales Pale Ale cost 12 USD, I have paid around 20 USD for one can in Sweden. Good location, easy to find. Clean and with a friendly staff. Worth a visit.
