This place will stock Bells and Founders including Expedition, Hopslam, KBS, Double Trouble, Break Stout when in season. Large cooler of beer, lots of variety. Small emphasis on locals. Can buy singles if they are in the singles rack, bombers, otherwise a lot of 4 and 6 packs. Good selection, hot bar food and sushi is good. Can eat inside and also drink beer inside, which is fun. Not as impressive for beer as other WFs, but pretty solid. Total Wine has more variety, but is not going to be refrigerated and who knows how long its sat on the shelf. Beer manager should be decently helpful unlike at Total Wine.

This is a typical Whole Foods with some great groceries, but the beer selection is kind of lacking for the chain. Most of the beers are local, which is kind of cool but nothing particularly awesome was available. There’s one long cooler for beer and that’s about it. Decent, but you’re better off going to Total Wine.

Like the other WF in the area, this one doesn’t devote a ton of its space or attention to beer. But what they do have is generally pretty well considered and high quality. Carolina, Aviator, and Fullsteam growlers are available, along with plenty of chilled sixers from Avery, Lonerider, Mother Earth, DR, Stone, et. al. Adjacent to the wines, you can find the more pricey bottles from North Coast, JP, Nogne, and the like. Worth a stop for sure.

Nice moderate sized WFM location. Parking sucks, but that’s no surprise. Service is decent, maybe a little subpar for a Whole Foods. Decent beer selection... one wall of the wine section and a singles section in prepared foods. Decent foreign and local selection... the American micros were there but seemed a bit scattered. The hot bar was tasty. Service was very poor for a Whole Foods (at least the cashier was nice, if poorly trained). Worth a stop if you’re hitting up the breweries in town.

They usually have a good selection of available micros and exports. They’ll occasionally have something that another store wont have. Its usually a good place to go and pick up a nice six pack.

The selection of beers have gotten really good here lately, and if you ask they will order special for you. The beer advisor there is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is also accurate in knowing what will be there and when. Plus most everything is COLD! Now if they will just move the stinky cheese counter somewhere else and tell those clueless old ladies to stop ramming me with their organic free range food-laden shopping carts!

Good selection of beers, but you have to look through the entire store for it. Got Ommegeddon after looking for a while (I stupidly told argo0 that it was readily available in NC!). Found Hopslam there (last sixer), and there is some decent local selection too. Not quite as good as the one in Raleigh, but has some beers the one in Raleigh doesn’t. Also, I got good service there.

Just stopped in here today. As performula mentions, WF is keen to the emergence of the craft beer market in the USA. Wish we could get one of those cool growler station hookups like they have in some of the WF’s up north. A fine selection here, but they aren’t as privy to the new releases when they first come out. Service is usually poor.

This shopping center stinks. Get ready to run someone over as they are oblivious to their surroundings. The food is good, service is good, a little sit down portion near the prepared food section. Not a bad beer selection. Bells, Dogfish, Duck Rabbit, Clipper City, Southampton (1 or 2), Weyerbacher (1 or 2), Victory (2 or 3), Rogue Imperials, and the typical other stuff of the area. Found an EEL River Organic Porter today.
