Visited here on Black Friday along with all of the other people who were looking to make their yearly BCBS purchase. Apart from having to suffer from waiting in line within earshot of some painfully awkward beer geek chat, the experience actually wasnít all that bad. I arrived late in the morning, avoided bottle sales, and instead got a glass of the coffee variant to enjoy in the upstairs cafeteria. The beer selection is very good for a Whole Foods. Plenty of locals alongside a strong selection of players from the rest of the US and Europe. OK prices. The staff were friendly. Overall, one of the better options if youíre looking for bottles in the area.

Thursday morning is not the best time to find good beers in Washington DC... most of the beer stores are closed but then thank god (or somebody else) there is the Whole Foods! Very nice selection of bombers and almost all in cold. I was looking for some imperial stouts and voilŗ... I found more than I needed. Thank you Whole Foods... you saved my day!

Not as good as the one at Foggy bottom for sure because they donít split six packs for single bottles and donít seem to rotate their growler taps as often. Free samples are free samples, nonetheless. Some better bombers than the Foggy Bottoms one, though. A few steps from Churchkey if you are looking for a warm-up.

One of the only good bottle shops in DC proper that I found. Very small beer selection for a whole foods, even the size it is. Nice that most is in the cooler. Lots of cans which is awesome and almost everything was super fresh. 1 week old DC Brau! Food is like every whole foods, good but not cheap. Worth it to use this as a dinner while at a conference and take some beer home on my dime.

Visited 05-MAY-2014. For a european a fantastic selection. Unfortunately this crazy American idea of six-packs. Large bottles are nice and plenty. Food is as always extraordinary.
Must visit place. I will return.

Usually stop by after ChurchKey to see whatís new on the beer shelves. Just a few minutes walk from ChurchKey so itís a good stop to see what beers are in. Decent growler fill selection. Beer aisle has one side of refrigerated beer/cider bombers and packs, a side of unrefrigerated packs, and an endcap of unrefrigerated meads and beers. Good amount of seasonals and staples along with occasional gems. Beer aisle can get a bit cramped when itís busier. Checkout line can be long but moves fairly quickly and efficiently.

Not a bad place however, the beer selection is not as big as i was expecting. Didnt seem to have anything really rare either. Very crowded store at most times. Awesome food though-went here to eat before heading to Churchkey.

Typical Whole Foods experience and with DCís selection being as disappointing as it is, this may very well be the best bottle shop near downtown. Plenty of Stilwater, Uinta, Stone, Victory, DFH, DC brau. Nothing to mandatorily write home about, but really, except for De Vinos, I have not come across a place with a selection that may be larger when in DC. And itís so close to Churchkey which is the clear DC must that it really makes sense to stop by.

Another Whole Foods, with a great selection. Man these guys do it right. Lots and lots of singles (although none in cans) cooled, and well stored. Good stuff.

Pretty decent selection for a grocery store, they had a couple ciders I hadnít seen before, and the stone mint stout. Almost all the singles are in the fridge, which is a big plus. While the parking is free, there are a bunch of cabs taking up spots, which makes finding a spot a challenge. Overall, one of the better whole foods.
