72 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 ekoerper (37) Iowa | September 13, 2011 Very nice store. The import selection isn’t huge, but some of the standards are there. The US craft selection is decent. I’d probably go for the food selection before the beer, but they make a fair effort on the beer given that it clearly isn’t their main source of revenue. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 16/20 albertq17 (12) California | June 9, 2011 I stopped by after I had called at least a half dozen Bevmos’ and Whole Foods to see if they had any Parabola left. Diana was really nice and said she still had some and would hold a bottle for me. I was helped by another employee when I picked up the bottle but she also was happy to help me. Even the pretty girl at the register was really nice and we made small talk about beer. A good vibe in the store from everyone that works there. Selection is decent and the pricing is very good, on beer. I will be back if in the area. | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 14/20 LtDan (65) Los Angeles County, California | January 16, 2010 This seems like one of the first Whole Foods, before it became the iconic Apple Store of expensive food. I like the service, because Diana the beer lady rocks. Nate is ok too, but I don’t deal with him much. The selection is mostly good. You can get fresh Stone, Port Brewing/Lost Abbey, Bruery Seasonals, Belgians, and other assorted Craft Beers. What I don’t get is the crap beer they sell like Indian Wells, Bud Light, Heineken, and other Organic beers that are seemingly collecting dust there. The prices are spot on, better than any of the surrounding liquor stores, and without the horrible attitude and lies one gets from a local liquor store around here. Overall, it’s not the best Whole Foods in terms of beer, but it’s consistant, and always provides me with great beer at a great price. | 54 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 can8ianben (93) Souderton, Pennsylvania | January 22, 2008 Pretty ordinary selection, take a short walk down the street to BevMo for more choice.
The store in itself is amazing. Two levels of overpriced foodie bliss. I wouldn’t go for the beer, but if you are in the store you may as well check out the cooler. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 mds (100) Toronto, Ontario | April 1, 2007 I wasn’t able to find anything out of the ordinary here. Plenty of regional stuff like the big Alesmith’s, Stone, RR Damnation, Moylans, among some others states like Avery.
There were a few imports of German stuff and some regular Belgians.
Prices were about average - Moylans BW for about $4.50, Speedway for $10, etc.
