One of the best beer selections I’ve seen in a Whole Foods. The walk in fridge is awesome.

Wow, this place is ridicolous. A large walk-in cooler with a beer selection very rarely seen in a supermarket. Most beers are $5-6 for 22 oz.

I try not to rate supermarkets because, for the most part, I don’t really consider them beer stores. However, this Whole Foods deserves a rating because it has concentrated on building a beer store within its confines. And they have an ample selection in a large walk-in cooler (with some of the barrel aged stuff on a rack in the front) which often causes me to peruse rather than try to find anything specific. Service, when I’ve needed it, has been good, and the value is typical of Whole Foods - pricier, but not unreasonable. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Visited every day during my visit to Portland in March 2016. The location was excellent, around five minutes walk from my hotel. (Marc Spencer) The beer selection was the best that I have ever seen in a Whole Foods Store, a lot of locals from Oregon but also from other parts of USA and other countries. (the rest of the store was also very good) I especially liked the cold room with all the beers, a room like that is not possible in Sweden due to alcohol laws. I am used to high prices in Sweden so the prices at this store were ok. Really well worth a visit.

Pretty big sized store in the more downtown area of Portland. Not too far from places like Rogue and Lardo.

They had a growler station upstairs, but the real action is in the walk in cold box downstairs. There are also some select beers outside and a number of ciders over in the wine section. Sake there, too.

I thought the selection was pretty good, but being from out of town, so much is new to me. They don’t seem to do singles here, so you can either get large format bottles or six/four packs. But, a good selection of beers from all over Oregon and Portland itself. They had some special releases like Hellshire V out on the shelves. The pricing was a little less attractive here than other places, but not exorbitant by any means.

I don’t know that you’ll find anything too crazy here, but it’s worth a stop for some solid bottled beers.

Dans le milieu de peloton des Whole Foods côté sélection. Un arrêt intelligent comme d’habitude même si ça peut être plus cher. Ya toujours des chances de trouver des perles qui disparaissent plus vite dans les autres boutiques.

Awesome bottle selection - the best of Portland’s Whole Foods, though the prices are a bit higher than Belmont Station and other bottle shops. They seem to have a few things Belmont runs out of more quickly. Definitely worth a stop.

So visited this my first day in Portland because we needed a couple of things for the condo and it was near where we already were...pleasantly surprised by what they had in stock including some stellar finds like 2013 Beserker and Artic Saison. Also had a nice selection of locals and other west coast brews and nothing was too expensive. I’d say if you are downtown visit this place to at least see if they have anything special and because its probably close and you can definitely get some good beer.

Typical Whole Foods vibe - walk in cooler stocked with an impressive of local brews - lean on the imports, but that is not why you are here - fairly nice selection, and close by all the desirable downtown locations - nice place to stock up if you are staying near downtown.

walk-in cooler is a mix of local, regional and import. a few things not seen elsewhere in town, decent prices and a knowledgeable beer-dude running the place.
