After A few days in Colorado I’m sensing themes at the liquor stores. They typically have all the beer refridgertated except for a seasonal display. Beer is typically an afterthought. The ambience is usually walgreen’s circa 1982. The pick six sections are comically small and full of stuff you’d never want to see in a pick six. And the BMC is usually in the back. This was the most beer forward store I visited and they had in addition to a voluminous Colorado section a nice national and imported craft sections. They also had 4-5 Russian Rivers. As I was checking out the sales clerk told me they were getting some Pliny the Elder but you had to ask for it. I’ll definitely head back here the next time I’m In town.

I may be overcompensating on the selection here because i found 3 bottles of BA Yeti during GABF week, but overall there was a good variety. Prices were really, really reasonable. Helpful staff as always.

Largish liquor store attached to, but not directly connected with the Whole Foods next door - long wall of coolers - a fair amount of imports, but nothing compared to the better stores in the area - decent craft selection, but some notable locals are missing - prices were fair, with a few notable sales - limited mix a six selection, containing mostly crap - nothing special, but probably good for stocking up on sale items.

Picked up 9 beers I hadn’t rated, and some were hard to get like DFH and Victory Buff. Down side is no mix and match singles. If you look for beer in Boulder, don’t miss it. Note: My receipt says Ace Wine and Spirits, but the phone matches this place.

Decent store, I hit it every few weeks for the occasional sale of good bottles and sometimes they have left over bottles of limited release (i.e. Consecration). Liked the sale on Tseejes bottles especially. Decent selection compared to the other Boulder stores, but I think this one sits below Liquor Mart, Boulder W&S and Harvest. Clean store, well-organized, most beer kept cold in coolers, nice staff.
