It was great getting here. Jordan and I were driving down I205 and I noticed it out of the corner of my eye. It wasnít really on our things to do list, but thanks to pdeeís suggestion, I was able to enjoy the Bock Burger! Good food and good beers. The establishment is great and the service was as well.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon in November 2015. Large corner pub overlooking the railway. Beer range has a mix of Widmerís standard range plus a healthy selection of one off brews. Sampler tray available which helps. Server didnít know what had kicked, took an age to bring a replacement and water. Food was really good. Itís a nice venue and a great spot to sample Widmer beers, thereís always going to be new beers to try.

Visited as part of the Thursday night brewery hopping trip for RBSG. Not a bad walk from Upright over here.
The restaurant itself is pretty nice. Modern and bright. Decent sized dining room in the front with a more private area in the back where our group sat.
A ton of Widmer beers on tap, around 20 or so. A number of these are their year round offerings and normal seasonals/rotating releases, though. They do flights of 6 which are $15. Thatís pretty expensive, particularly by Portland standards. I guess they can get away with it, though, as everyone was ordering them. The beers were mostly mediocre, but some of them were decent enough.
Service was pretty good, but I felt a little bad for the guy as it was pretty much him for 20 people, almost all of which were ordering samplers and splitting checks and so forth.
Given that these guys donít make the best beer in town, itís kind of out of the way for the typical traveler, and itís a bit more on the expensive side...I donít know that Iíd put this high on my list of places to visit. But itís not bad by any means.

Been here a number of times; itís time to rate it.
First off, they have done an excellent job of making this inviting - though I donít see a significant difference after the remodel; seems to be more of fixed materials than a full overhaul. Lots of wood tones throughout and a German feel without an overwhelming amount of paraphernalia. The food is always good, above standard pub fare, and thereís plenty of in house beers which donít make it to bottles. Itís a fine place to have a pint, and probably gets overlooked because of the overall Widmer reputation. It shouldnít.

Visited on Saturday 07/11/14 around 4pm. We found this medium to large facility to be pretty busy despite it being a little before dinner time, although we squeezed our group of 5 onto a large bench.
Smart decor inside, wooden floors, mix of high and low bench and table seating. Check out the long bench in the middle of the room that is set across a step in height. Tall stools on one side, short on the other. Swap them over and play giants vs dwarves!
23 beers on tap during my visit, standard range plus a good dozen or so one offs/seasonals so well worth visiting here for some interesting Widmer ticks.
Beers available in tasting flights of 6. Bottled beers also worth checking out where I picked up a new CDA rate, these can be taken away.
Good atmosphere, largely adults although a few family groups started to show up for dinner around 5pm. Service was very good. Food wise we just graised a little, they do fondue here which was fun to share with some dipping bread.
Overall a solid stop and lots of limited release Widmer beers to take on, most of which were decent and hitting the 3.4-3.7 scores from my rating perspective.

Very nice place. Why did I wait so long? A bunch of Widmer taps, more than 20. Great seasonals, Barrel Aged stuff etc. Good service and good German themed food. They also have a bottle and growler shop attached. The brewery is huge. Sort of out of the way, so easy enough parking.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon in August. Large rooms, with high ceilings, lamps dangling from very long cords, brick, wood floor, and red walls. Only one silent TV. Very pleasant atmosphere at lunch time. Moderately crowded and a bit noisy, but not bad. (I went once, a few years back, on a weekend evening, when it was ridiculously crowded and the service was... not so good). This time, the young server was enthusiastic and eager to talk beer. 24 taps (not all on): Four year-round brews; four seasonals; and thirteen small batch brews. $5 pints. $12 tasting set of six 5-oz glasses. $1 off on pints during Happy Hour, which is 2-5pm Mon-Fri. Food is good, a cut above the typical pub fare. Sandwiches, burgers, sausages, and a selection of gluten-free choices. Widmer has been upping its game for the past several years. They had been resting on their laurels and depending too much on their flagship Hefeweizen. These days the beer is all good to very good. Go there and see -- but go during daylight hours.

The Widmer facility overall is quite large, but the tap room is actually not that big. We found on our visit a lot of specialties on tap, almost all of which were interesting and well-made. This really made for an enjoyable stop, and certainly anyone bored with the regular Widmer offerings will get a contrasting view of the brewery working through the lineup of aged, barreled, and esoteric offerings here.
