This is a medium sized bar a bit from the city center, in an area known for their winos and addicts. Part of the oluthuone- chain of pubs, but I feel it has a slightly better selection than most. William-K- interior, meaning soft rugs on tables, old English- style. Boardgames and magazines. Foor also, standard pub snacks (never tried). A fun place, get easily crowded.

We have often come to this bar as they have one of the best selection of beers in the surrounding. But after the service this night (23/4/11) we will stop coming to the place. The doorkeeper was very unpolite and the bartender did not know anything about the selection of beers the bar has. We still regret that William K. Fleminginkatu was closed. There were always polite service.

Very good location. Bright and spacious. Still the carpets on the tables like it was when it was at Fleminginkatu. OK selection with some more rare beers included. Friendly staff.

This place was quite much bigger than I expected, and had about as many beers as the William K on Annenkatu has. Friendly staff, who seemed to know the beers they sold. Very close to Kolme Kaisaa too, so worth a visit if you happen to be visiting KK.

Right on top of the sörnäinen metro stop. Spacious, pleasantly lit relaxing ambience. Better selection than the other William Ks that I’ve seen. Very friendly staff - I didn’t actually have a drink here, as they phoned around to find the rare beer that I was after which had already sold out in more central outlets in their chain, and directed me to one of the Pivnicys. The largest of the William K. pubs sits in one of the busiest intersections in the Kallio area. Still it manages to be quite quiet and comfy, with bookshelves, board games and lots of room. The other half of the place is non-smoking, and seems to remain so, at least in the afternoon. They’re trying to keep one Finnish micro on tap at all times, which is nice. Bottle selection is above average, and should suffice for most. Certainly a better effort than the other newcomer in the HOK-Elanto chain, Bierhuis Rotterdam.
