This is a large brewpub with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a nice selection of styles with their beers, including lighter options for the craft beer averse. The food is upscale sandwiches and salads. Nothing unique, but they do a solid job of food, beer and space.

Somewhat disappointed on our last visit to the Willoughby Brewing Company. The food was decent, but once the orders were taken, the food took a while to appear, and then once it was served, our waitress disappeared. The food is a bit pricey for what you get. The presentation was good, but the Walleye sandwich at least was completely devoid of flavor. I would suggest that a microbrewery that has a few good IPAís like this one should ALWAYS keep at least one on tap! Mandatory valet parking was a bit hard to swallow, since the parking lot was only half full when we left. The parking attendants were a bit snobby when we refrained from using their services. The food here is decent, the beer average or better (when an IPA is on tap), the service just OK, but not worth paying for mandatory valet parking! The whole idea of this mandatory valet parking eluded to a bit of arrogance to say the least! This was likely our last visit to the Willoughby Brewing Company. The food, service or beer are simply not good enough here to sacrifice my car to snobby, rude valets!

Visited: 12-20-11 A: The place is pretty nice on the inside, old brick/steel interiored buidling converted well for the bar/resteraunt. More upscale than local bar. Q: The beers were decent, had the Raspberry Wheat, Xmas Ale, Pale, and IPA. Overall the quality of them were good especially with the hoppier beers. S: They had 8 taps which consisted of Blonde, Pale, IPA, Razz Wheat, PB Coffee Porter, Chocolate Stout, Xmas Ale, and Amber. A good variety for the winter months. S: The service was average, attentive but slow, especially on a not so busy night. The prices of the beers/flights were average, the food was a little pricier than most places. The food was above average, had the Magma Burger which was cooked well, just pricey. Overall, things have stepped up since I was last here.

This place is worth going to for the peanut butter cup porter alone - excellent peanut butter coffee flavored beer. Their other offerings are pretty decent too (Perfidia Pale Ale, Gutterpup Porter, Kolsch). This is a large restaurant-brewpub with a fairly extensive (and slightly pricey menu) - sandwiches, salads, and entrees. The food is good although itís not great (standard stuff). Overall a solid stop and make sure to pick up a growler of the pb cup porter (although be careful - they donít always have growlers so as to make sure they have enough on tap for the customers!).

Took a road trip from Philly to drink PB cup coffee porter from the source. Awesome food...even got recommendations from the executive chef! The waitstaff and barstaff were fabulous...very friendly and attentive! Cool atmosphere with a large restaurant, 2 bars, indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of big tvs and a stage for live music. Only negatives about the visit were that the stinking penguins won and the head brewer insisted on impersonally price gouging me for growlers even though I drove from philly and back...plus the entire staff wanted to hook me up! But i cant rip a place for one guy. Id still go back.

Good place eat and drink, and I think they brew their own beers.

Stopped in on a Saturday night. This place was relatively difficult to find. You actually had to turn down an alley to get to it. I didnít and ended up parking in an open lot about five or six blocks away. When I did finally make it to the building, it was packed. There was some sort of show happening that night. If that wasnít going on, I might have wanted to stay a little while longer. I waited my turn to get a beer at the bar and walked around drinking it and left. $4.50 for the peanut butter cup coffee Porter is a fair price, as its delicious, but I cannot comment on any of their other beers or selection. I didnít see anything on display for a bottle selection, but it was too busy to be able to tell a whole lot. Id go back, but Id do it earlier in the day as well as hit up a few other spots in town that looked to be more relaxed and had just as good a selection or better.

Went here a few times. Food is good, service is ok. The beer is usually underwhelming. Usually a wierd and overly festive crowd weekend nights. Worth a try, but youíll have a better time at Ballentine or 1899.

Decided to head to WBC on a Friday evening, tried to call ahead to make reservations got told they couldnt accomodate our party (7ppl) went on OpenTable and reserved a table for 5, got a table which sat 7 comfortably, they have 8 taps of their beer, and offer 2 sampler options an 8 sample one and a 4 sample one, able to customize your sampler too, food is good but pricey, they pride themselves on pizza too.. limited selction there. Place is always busy and parking can be difficult if you donít know the area.. Valet is available though. I prefer to park in public parking and walk. Willoughby is a cool spot with lots of beer oriented bars to fill an evening with.
