Lousy staff. Unfortunately I decided to stop in to check this place out today. One particular staff person, who was a young lady, has a rather severe attitude and I was on the receiving end. Needless to say: I will not be back -even if it were the last wine store on the planet. Surprisingly, the staff at the government outlets are always super nice here in Regina.

Much better than the government stores. At first I thought, "whereís the beer?" but when I found the fridge, I was impressed. There are maybe 100 beers or so, but they all are relatively uncommon in Western Canada and good quality, so I stocked up.

Beer is really secondary here, but theyíre trying! Never seem to have the same selection twice. Iím not sure if that is good or bad. Lots of Canadian craft beer, usually a handful of great American micro and some Belgians. You have to visit often as its usually boom or bust. A little pricey, but I guess thatís to be expected. Glad to have this as my closest store!

It has a good collection of craft brews from across Canada. Well good for Saskatchewan at least. The unfortunate side is that the shelves are frequently empty because of the demand, and the difficulties of getting non-SLGA listings into the province. The selection of wine is far better than beer. The staff however makes a point of knowing about what is on the shelves, and can actually recommend a beer to a customer. It is a very expensive place to get beer, but given the selection, there is very little choice but to pay it.

Probably the best shop we have in Saskatchewan. Very knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Dave the beer guy knows his beer and is not shy to answer questions or talk about beer. Selection is limited right now, but it does take time to get rolling. It is especially difficult here in Saskatchewan with our laws restricting beer to only be 10% of your product. Overall a good place and a regular spot for me on a Saturday afternoon.

Only a guess at the ~100 beers available but it was limited. This being said, I doubt youíd find anything better in Regina or Southern Saskatchewan. Mixed in with some Quidi Vidi (Newfoundland) and some BC micros were Quebecís Dieu du Ciel and Charlevoix - and most impressively, Belgiumís Struise Pannepot ($7.42) and Deca Black Albert ($10.95). God only knows how these fine beers find their way into the province but who really cares?!?!?
