Stopped by over New Years weekend and sat in the bar area. Lots of football related paraphernalia in the bar area. Nice selection of pizzas-we had a margharita chicken pizza but it was a bit lacking on toppings. Beers-had the IPA in a big goblet-it was bitter and seemed to be a bit off. Had the "Chimay style" sample and it was decent. They had a couple of other beers on tap including a porter. If in the area worth a stop but not one to seek out or drive out of the way. We sat at the bar and the owner kept forgetting my name and which tab was mine-even though we were only one of two couples at the bar.

Wimberley Brewing Company is actually part of Brewsterís Pizza... same building, same owner, same thing.
Bruce, the owner, is a 2-time Superbowl champion with the 49ers. The bar areas has lots of memorabilia accordingly!
The beer is brewed on site and the locals seems to really like it. Most of it is pretty non-offensive and drinkable, which I suppose is good for some. It works for them to complement the pizza...
Speaking of Pizza!
Woah, the pizza here is fantastic! Itís worth a stop just for that.
Note that thereís also another brewery/taproom in the same parking lot (Middleton Brewing) so you can try out both at one stop.

Went by here during a recent trip to the Hill Country. The place is actually known as Brewsterís Pizza and there were a lot of people eating pizza. I didnít try the pizza, but the amount of people at the place leads me to believe it is probably at least decent. The beer on the other hand was not too great. There were only two beers on tap, both were served in gigantic margarita goblets and both were not good. There was a third house beer listed on tap called Chimay. I assumed it just meant it was one of the three Chimays, but someone else said it was a beer brewed at the location that was called Chimay. I didnít discover this until after I left so I canít confirm. One other issue was that the entire restaurant smelled like bleach. I guess it is from sanitizing something, but it really was overpowering and led almost everyone to sit on the patio. For good beer brewed in Wimberley, I suggest walking about 100 feet across the parking lot and hitting up Middleton Brewing.
