Very unassuming little corner-store market-deli wine and beer shop. If you enter via the deli side, it appears somewhat gloomy. The beer is sprawled all over the aisle in front of a bank of coolers that holds both big bottles and singles. Itís worth rooting through the chaos though, as I found a few hidden gems not stocked in the coolers. What this place lacks in polish it makes up for with its staff. Two young beer geeks who know their stuff and were very pleasant (sorry but Iíve forgotten your names). Certainly worth a stop, and no better or worse than the other beer hunting spots in town (which collectively complement each other and add up to a decent enough selection).

Hole in the wall grocery store. Nice folks providing good service. Selection is standard from what I have seen so far but it is very disorganized. I will be going here more for wine. Try the food later

Very nice little beer store in Missoula. Selection isnít amazing relative to other regions, but itís definitely solid, with a decent range of Montana stuff as well. Service was outstanding--very friendly, and quite knowledgeable as well. Prices were good, but just slightly higher than some other places in town. Overall, certainly worth of a stop if you are looking for a beer store in Missoula.

Great place to stop at in Missoula. Service was excellent and the selection of beer was the best in town. Lots of domestic craft beer and a respectable selection of imports as well. Pleased to see Aventinus on the shelf.

Stopped in here while chugging along I-90. Awesome deli and beer store. As soon as I headed toward the beer cases, two employees asked me if I needed help. They all seemed pretty beer savvy. Selection was very good as well with tons of regionals, locals, and just plain good beer. Well worth the stop!

We left Flathead brew where we had lunch and got into our car. I checked the GPS to see where Wordens was. It stated 0.0 mi away. I looked around and sure enough it was right there across the street from Flathead. Perfect! Went into the grocery market where we were happily greeted by a self proclaimed beer lover who worked there. Man, he was friendly and attentive and very very helpful. I walked out of there with lots of beer that are for the most part stored cold. I look forward to coming back. Super friendly people here.

One of the best beer stores I visited in Missoula - probably the weakest selection of Belgians/imports (Iíd check out Liquid Planet for those), but an excellent selection of local Montana breweries, and a nice selection of seasonals and one-offs from New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, Alaskan, and a few others. Pirices were better than at the Good Food Store. Overall a solid stop.

A grocery market in an older building with a nice selection of beers in the back. Service was decent and staff was friendly.

Well, being from a great beer destination, I must say that this wasnít impressive, but I have to understand the context. Ok, well, understanding the context, Iíd say that this place has a fairly decent selection. They had a decent amount of imports, and they had a nice representation of the local stuff. They were spotty in some areas, but surprising in others. For example, they had bottles of Deschutesí The Stoic there, but didnít seem to have a mix of the local stuff. I was slightly expecting to be "stunned" by local representation in terms of, quite possibly, one-off type beers, but nothing. Overall, the prices were great, and I was able to pick up a 4-pack of Coldsmokes for home. Decent selection, and again, remember, this is Montanta -- they do what they can here. Forgot to mention the setting -- essentially, itís a small grocery/corner store type setting. Itís right across the street from Iron Horse, and in the downtown area, so give it a try.
