Do not waste your time going here unless you want the same beer you can get at home. The only "singles" sold here are in generic sampler packs of very common beer. Otherwise, no single beers can be sold so as to preserve the "atmosphere" of the Gaslamp District. Skip this boring place, unless your OC disorder requires that you beerhunt everywhere.

Not a great place for beer, but I have been able to purchase quite a few singles over the years to rate. Prices arenít too bad. Pretty hit or miss, but sometimes you get some decent stuff. (La Mesa store)

Contrary to other reviewersí reports,CostPlus has one thing going for it: the best prices on Unibroue beers I have ever found. They even got the cranberry Ephimere at Xmas-time. Of course you donít expect expert service, and the selection is (otherwise) not exceptional, but this is my stop to stock up on Maudite and La Fin du Monde. Also good champagne prices in the non-beer realm.

Nothing here is really worth going out of your way for. I can find all tis stuff elsewhere. Bevmo has a much better selection. But if you need to buy a 4 foot ceramic giraffe anyway, why not pick up a bottle of Chimay too!

this is not a beer store, they sell like 2 samplers of beer, that every cost plus accross the country has, if your in san diego there is no reason to stop here.

For a gourmet place, this is a good stop. None of the beers are chilled but if you have a cooler, itís a good call before a Padres game. They donít break open 6íers but do have some 22ís.
