66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 cratez (151) Toronto, Ontario | May 2, 2013| Updated May 3, 2013 When I visited: Late January 2013.
What I had: Draught Lagunitas Sucks for me and a Delirium Tremens on tap for the wife.
What I liked: Both beers tasted lovely (they definitely clean their lines), convenient location, robust draught and bottle menus as with all WOBs, fair prices.
What I disliked: Slow and uncaring service, seemingly smaller than the Brewery District spot, ho-hum crowd with several people staring about (I guess that’s what you can expect in suburbia), stool tables are awkward, didn’t enjoy this place nearly as much as the Front Street location.
Would I go back? Probably not.
Overall Rating: 66 | 76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (561) Columbus, Ohio | February 25, 2013| Updated May 3, 2013 Visited 01/2013: Columbus’ newest WOB location is at Easton off Easton Way. There is a parking garage on either side of the bar.
There is a small patio out front. Inside is a large open room with the bar along the back wall, and high top and table seating throughout the rest of the space. Several coolers full of bottles behind the bar, as well as a view of all the taps. Large chalkboard that lists the beers on tap, and several TVs around the bar.
As for the draught list, there are over 25 taps with breweries like Dark Horse, Columbus Brewing, Stone, Southern Tier and Dogfish Head. Hundreds of bottles too organized by region. Local and Ohio breweries like Thirsty Dog, Great Lakes, CBC, Hoppin’ Frog alongside other domestic craft brewers like Green Flash, Lagunitas, Rogue and Oskar Blues. Imports from Belgium, the UK, Germany and others as well.
Service on a weekday afternoon was good. The bartender was familiar with the different beers and attentive. WOB does a loyalty program with no time constraints which is nice. They also do events frequently such as tap takeovers.
Food is not available at WOB but can be brought in.
Overall despite mixed feelings about these chain places it is a welcome sight at Easton. | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 jmikolich (84) North Ridgeville, Ohio | December 18, 2012| Updated May 3, 2013 swung by on my way back from Jackie O’s and stopped here with my friend, walk in a find a seat wherever you can. our waitress was very attentive and willing to chat, they have a frequent drinker card, lots of bottles, low turnover, plenty of taps some unique some not. good specials and crowded loud crowd for a Saturday evening.
