Really a lot of fun to hang out here when the Friday/Saturday night crowd is NOT around. They have a great selection and prices that usually aren’t too terrible. You get the best service at the bar which is to be expected. If you are there on Friday or Saturday night and sit at a table, service can be virtually non-existent. You can call in food from some of the local businesses which I think is cool. It works out even better if you’re a student or teacher, you get discounts on Tuesdays. It also doesn’t hurt that they get in a fair amount of rare/limited selections. Definitely worth trying at least once, I recommend a weekday any time or weekend in the middle of the day.

Right in downtown Tempe. Big, open place with a long bar and a decent amount of seating, kind of dark and the music was pretty loud. Went here early afternoon and it was still fairly busy, could see it getting out of control later at night. Service was good, the server seemed well rehearsed on the beer and even warned us that La Folie was a sour beer. Huge selection of beer, tons on draft and a big bottle list as well, there were a lot of average beers but some real gems available too. No food as far as I could tell. Prices seemed a bit high but not that bad for the area and selection. Very cool place to have a beer, I’d get there early then head down to the Mellow Mushroom for dinner and more beer.

Tons of beer? Yep. Loud music? Yep. Good service? Yep. Better than I expected? Yep. It’s on a street famous for young people and drunkenness. Fun and obnoxious. Enjoy!

Early rating, as I went to the soft opening last night. Awesome selection in bottles and draft. First night service was good, and they have a nice rewards program. It may be a little pricey, but so far so good.
