Very cool brewpub, and some surprisingly good beer. Enjoyed this place a lot more than nearby Porter Bar. Old school decor, with a cool colonial building. This place specializes in cocktails as well, so between that and craft beer expect hipsters. Selection is very good here, with lots of drafts and casks to choose from. Flight is limited to the four or five beers they choose, but half pints are cheap and available. They pour samples as well. Cool ambiance and good service.

Visited this brewpub on 26.4.2016. When I came to Atlanta the last time, around 5 years ago, there was only Sweet Water brewing, now you find several promissing beer places in the city. The Wrecking Brewpub is located in an old villa with a nice patio outside and a strong English ’Victorian’ Pub atmosphere inside. The brewery is just next door, operating on two floors and is equipped with a long bar next to the fermentation tanks. Seems the ground floor can be booked for events. The beers were delicious, had a Kölsch, a tart ale and an IPA. In total they had 12 beers on tap all brewed on the premisses. In addition they have a nice Scotch selection. Burger and fries were also quite good. The service was outstanding, very friendly and knowledgable about her beers. A really good brewpub!

My Cheers. I have been there probably 200 times, and it keeps getting better. A local magazine ranked it the #1 bar in the city and cannot disagree. The space is wonderful, the food amazing, Beers in all styles (although not at once LOL) including a wood aged beer every Wednesday and a cask every Friday. If you are lucky enough to come on the 5th of the month, the Mexican Siberius RIS is OMG great. So fortunate to have this right down the street.

We actually ended up initially missing this place as it didn’t seem to be right that a brewpub would be inside Victorian style house, but sure enough, that is the case...

It’s really sort of around the back and in the basement (though the also have a beer garden in what I guess is sort of a garage type building). Classic, dark wooden decor and a great bar with plenty of seating. They had maybe 15-16 beers on during our visit. Holy smokes. Most of them were pretty good, too.

Full bar, particularly heavy on whiskey, so you can get a cocktail or wine if beer isn’t your thing. Food looked great as well. Great service. Definitely worth a stop.

Cool looking as all hell and a nice selection. Beers were solid with plenty of styles represented. I’d go back!

I’ve been here numerous times. The service is always very good, as is the food. They have a revolving selection of beers brewed on site. Both table and bar seating available, as well as a small patio in good weather. No TVs.

Man, I really liked this place. We sat in the basement for Sunday morning(ish) brunch. The basement is lots of stone walls and old timber, so it had kind of, well, basement in an old house feel to it. Which, of course, is what it is. Anyhoo, our hostess and waitress were very professional and very enthusiastic about the place and it’s history. The food was great, too. I had the homemade pastrami, ad my other companions had the steak and eggs, both of which were awesome. The beer was mostly theirs (most of the stuff I had was at least decent and some were outstanding), plus a few guests. Great place.

Sat at the bar on a Sunday lunchtime and only one person serving drinks. Completely unable to cope with demand. Reasonable enough range of own brews, but serve portions became miniscule for stronger beers. Prices extortionate for what you got. Even parking was valet only. After waiting 12 mins with empty glass for my second beer, I ordered two at once and the check. Consequently decided not to eat.

A brewpub under a small folly-like building on the main road. It’s in a basement with rough-hewn walls, making it look like a cave, with a neat and tidy bar in the centre. They had nine of their own beers (available in flights of six) plus a guest. It has an upmarket feel, in a good way; it’s definitely for the well-heeled (valet parking only!) and with rather different vibes to the hippyness of Little Five Points. (Visited 20 February 2014).
