Being just 2 blocks from my "office", this one became a regular stop the few times I was there, after office hours. In August 2011 I had the chance to be there for 2 Thursday Night Cask, and the IPA was lovely. Also a few of the other beers are good. Food is ok. The atmosphere is nice.

It didnít help I swung by here on a Friday night, but this place just leaves a bad impression. The beers were pretty damn bad, and I had no reason to even bother ordering food here. The bar staff had a real false sense of ítryingí to be your friend, but it was all forced and not needed anyways. Mad expensive for what it is. I was happy to get out of here.

Food seems reasonable, but the beer is overpriced and not very good. Iíd recommend it for the food aspect only, had a pretty good meal.

A large pub in trendy Yaletown which was surprisingly family-friendly. Rather large terrace in the heart of this nicely revamped industrial neighborhood. Plenty of brick and wood make for a relatively warm feel in this place that feels more like a restaurant than a pub. The food was excellent, I had a tasty and pretty filling seafood paella for a very reasonable $16. The pizzas looked really good on a nearby table. The beers are rather simple interpretation of classic styles, but they were all clean, just careful not to shock any newcomer to the world of craft beer.

Pretty nice location. Beer is not too special. Great bar food. Nice staff yet slightly slow. Overall a nice visit for a few beer but nothing too special. The seasonal beer is really the only thing worth trying, yet pricey.

Pretty average quality beer with the same taps on year-round except for one seasonal which is usually worthwhile, especially the adventurous (for Yaletown) Rocket to Russia Bourbon Oak-Aged Imp. Stout which was on during my visit. $6.75 for a 16 oz. glass of the year-rounds and $7.75 for the seasonal - quite pricey! Would only really come back (for beer) if there was a worthwhile seasonal on tap. But all in all, a decent option if you want a real beer and are stuck nearby. Otherwise, there are many superior options in the near vicinity. Doesnít hold a candle to the sadly now gone Dix.

Iíve been here a dozen times in the last decade, and it hasnít changed much. Interior is kind of cool. I like the wooden beams and renovated warehouse look. Itís pretty casual : you can play pool or watch the game on TV. I find it a little on the dark side. Clientele can be pretty yuppie-ish. Service is decent and generally knowedgeable. There are 8 taps of beer brewed on premises and the quality of beer is decent. A glass is pretty pricey: $6.75. Ouch! Nevertheless, Iíll be back.

They make pretty good beer, but itís in Yaletown, so pretentious central. Rubs off on the staff. Not a must stop on any level. Too bad, moving along. Ohya thanks for the free meal...
