Being just 2 blocks from my "office", this one became a regular stop the few times I was there, after office hours. In August 2011 I had the chance to be there for 2 Thursday Night Cask, and the IPA was lovely. Also a few of the other beers are good. Food is ok. The atmosphere is nice.

Huge restaurant setting. Cool location. Limited beers on tap. They had 8 of their own, but with a restaurant this size I prefer a little more of a selection in beers. I’m too picky I guess. Food was pretty good. Beer was average. Nice place, a little pricey. I would go back.

I went here only to drink and wasn’t disappointed with a flight of 8 beers on tap for $19, a pretty good deal for Vancouver. Not the finest service but I was left alone enough to rate them all. An okay hang out, the beers aren’t bad either.

Somehow we managed to obtain the address for the backdoor on Hamilton St. We still managed to get in. Just serving their own beers. 6 regulars & a couple of seasonals, I think. Tasting flights of 3 beers available.

Took the train to the Yaletown station, then a short walk. Fairly big place. This day Canada was playing the FIFA women’s soccer, so was filled for a while with dressed up people. PLenty of TV screens showing sports, more of a sports bar that has a brewery. Service fast and nice. Didn’t eat. Parking might be a hassle here, but on the street outside if you do. Got there at 15:25 and left about 17:00 or so. 8 beers on.

A huge and nice restaurant with a brewery and bar alongside a big patio. Service is good and they know their beer. Tasting flights are available and beer is OK. Food is high end and quite nice. Only problem is the high prices, not cheap.

It didn’t help I swung by here on a Friday night, but this place just leaves a bad impression. The beers were pretty damn bad, and I had no reason to even bother ordering food here. The bar staff had a real false sense of ’trying’ to be your friend, but it was all forced and not needed anyways. Mad expensive for what it is. I was happy to get out of here.

Food seems reasonable, but the beer is overpriced and not very good. I’d recommend it for the food aspect only, had a pretty good meal.

A large pub in trendy Yaletown which was surprisingly family-friendly. Rather large terrace in the heart of this nicely revamped industrial neighborhood. Plenty of brick and wood make for a relatively warm feel in this place that feels more like a restaurant than a pub. The food was excellent, I had a tasty and pretty filling seafood paella for a very reasonable $16. The pizzas looked really good on a nearby table. The beers are rather simple interpretation of classic styles, but they were all clean, just careful not to shock any newcomer to the world of craft beer.
