Love the bar at this place! round style bar with taps running around the whole thing. Service is alright, they know some of the beers they have, but do not seem to pay that close attention to beers that rotate much. Beers were pricier than they should be, but that is Denver bars. Overall, good for a beer if you are on 16th street, but past that, there are much better places for a beer or two in Denver.
Went here with a large group. The trip planner was very kind to consider that I liked beer when choosing the place for us to go. Very large and nice with a chain vibe- it was very busy and loud when we went. The service was good keeping up with a party of 25. They had a very large selection with some decent picks- most people should find something they like, but it was still accessible for non beer geeks. The food was pretty good- I had a Banh Mi sandwich- everyone else seemed happy with their food. Prices were average. Good for a large group or lunch.
Located on 16th street so handy for the free Mall shuttle bus which runs up and down 16th. Very corporate and popular with the suits, by 1130am the place was already packed with the early lunchers. A vast selection of taps thereís a beer menu. Good service, attentive staff but if you prefer a grungy dive bar not for you.
Really clean atmosphere and good clientele, but it is on the pricey end, especially for food. They have a shitload of taps, but itís just about the most boring selection Iíve ever seen for the size. It is nice to get a Franziskaner Weiss on tap here. There are a couple of house beers brewed by Firestone Walker which is one the redeeming factors.
Located on the pedestrian mall, this is much like any other Yard House. Pretty large location with their seemingly patented elliptical bar which you can walk all the way around. Lots and lots of taps, but really full of the most generic, easy to find beers imaginable. Prices are as always on the upper end of normal. Good and friendly service, clean, and well kept.
Stopped for dinner during GABF 2013 weekend. A big bar that surrounds the taps in the middle of a big restaurant. Lots of TVís hanging above the bar. It was packed and had a long wait to get in. Good food and fast service once we were seated. Dark and noisy inside.
Stopped in late after leaving Pints Pub. Got a quick local tick and hung out for a bit. Standard set of 100ish taps, very dark inside, friendly but not overly knowledgeable staff, and some house beers. I have to hand it to these guys, Yard House is probably the most consistent chain Iíve been to, more so than Rock Bottom, BJs, Gordon Biersch, Karl Strauss, and Ram Restaurant. I ordered the house ďamber tripelĒ just to try it which wasnít bad. Other than that I got a couple of tastes of some locally made beers from Breckenridge and another one that I canít remember without checking my notes. Canít say that Iíll frequent the place but my short time there was enjoyable.
Visited with some colleagues the other day because we were right around the corner on business - total tourist and business man happy hour kind of place (being attached to the Sheraton, this is no surprise) - lots of douchebags in suits and wingtips, with a smattering of tourist families and conference goers (Sheraton is a big conference venue) - the 100 taps wrapped around the bar look impressive, but when you actually read the list, it is extremely unimpressive - youíll find stuff worth drinking, though (I had a Yeti) - prices are decent for what is essentially a hotel restaurant - food quality is simply so-so, though - lots of televisions - lots of noise - our server was friendly, but sometimes slow, and only seemed to have moderate knowledge of the beer being served - if youíre staying at the Sheraton, hop on in - otherwise, donít bother.
