Best place in Waikiki area for some local beers - half price pints during happy hour are the best deal. Dark, windowless place - not a place to enjoy the area. Not bad if you’re in the area.

I guess you can say if you’ve been to one Yard House you’ve been to them all...but different locations matter (great to have this in the Beach Walk area...would be out of place elsewhere in Hawaii)...and of course the selections are always changing...and with the volume of choices at a Yard House...I would never write them off...just compare them to their competition instead...like World of Beer. What worked for me was that this Yard House was literally "in" the hotel I was staying at (Embassy Suites). As such, even landing around 4PM from an 11 hour flight from Newark and arriving at the hotel about 5:30...we had time to check-in...have a few beers at Yard House...and make our dinner at Roy’s (also in the Embassy...lol!) by 7PM! The point is...I don’t dislike Yard Houses at all...they serve a great craft beer purpose and are a good business model...of course I’ll always choose a bonafide craft beer location over a Yard House or WOB if given the chance (hence my visit the "REAL" the following night). Still...I’ve given them a good score...for selection and location at the very least.

Way over rated. Yeah for a Yardhouse, this is decent, but Hono has upped its game. Real, Honolulu Beerworks, Brew’d and Kona kill this place. The reason why people like it is because it is in Waikiki proper, but WTF why do people judge a place based on location? Good end of night pub close to the hotel or a place to watch NFL, but as a stand alone bar, not super interesting.

Good bar with great music playing and a great selection of beers. Service was great as was the food. Relaxed atmosphere.

Yard house is located in the heart of Waikiki. Huge selection on tap, but don’t expect to find anything really special. Huge variety of Descutes, Ballast Point and belgian brews. All beers are in the menu, but they also have 5 special beers on the "chalkboard". Ask the waiter for more info. They also offer two different flights of 6 beers for 10$. The flights are fixed and the one I tried had 6 different beers from Lost Coast. They also lacking imperial stouts on the menu. North Coast - Old Rasputin was the only one they had, witch is a real shame for a bar like this. The bar was nice and clean and easy to find. It was also easy to get a table every time I was there. Food was awesome and the menu offers a lot of differnt cousines. Just a shame that the music/tv was to loud to be able to talk to the others ones sitting at the same table. They really seems to focus on single people looking to drink beer while watching fotball.

The usual Yardhouse stuff, lots of beers, some in rough shape, corporate as hell, and this one just of Waikiki Beach is full of tourists, too.

Busy joint. Went 2x while in Honolulu and hard to get a seat at the bar. Much smaller than Yardhouse’s go as compared to on the mainland. Service at bar is good depending on who serves you. Good range of beers, and seeing winter seasonal beers are always good. Lots of Coronado, Ballast Point, Deschutes, Sam Adams, St. Bernardus, and Deschutes on tap. Food is usually solid and can do a lot of damage on the food at happy hour. If you do not have a car and in the area it is the best place to go.

I live in Honolulu. I love great beer! The Beer Selection is great. Rock n Roll and Staff is great. It is a great sports bar, at the bar, I watch the 49ers during pay offs. Yard House is a a bike distinatation, at least twice a year. Like you, reading this, I love to research and a drink great beer, Yard house has it and very will worth a visit. Aloha.

As Yardhouses go, this one is not so bad. Locals kept telling us to check it out, it’s quite popular and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The music was too loud, but generally the atmosphere was alright for what it is. Beer selection isn’t enlightening, but perfectly acceptable, and I could say the same for the food.
