Enjoyed the free brewery tour. Have an ok selection of beers, most of them were ones you could get from the bottle shop/brewery. Didnt try any food but they have a nice little bar menu. People were very nice and very enthusiastic about their work.

Stopped by for the free brewery tour and a few drinks this Saturday. One of the better tours Iíve been one. Our tour guide, Mike, was very informative and enthusiastic. The bar area is large with plenty of room to drink and mingle. Fun place to spend the afternoon.

Large open space with a long bar in the back. Windows open to the brewhouse. A pretty eclectic group of employees and patrons alike. Has their normal stuff on tap plus a few variations of their brews and special batches you generally canít find elsewhere. It closes early so itís a good place to start the night before moving along to other Northern Liberties spots. Iíve yet to take the tour so canít comment on that but generally a good place to visit.

For the second time in 4 days we went to a brewery and the place was rented for a private event. Since the private event was only in an hour, we were allowed a drink. Glad they had flights, I ordered one, only to find out they tried to get us out asap, which resulted in the waiter coming by our table every 5 minutes saying: "we will be closing up for the private event". In the end we were brushed out the door, even though there were only 2 persons for the private event, so it wasnít exactly as if we were taking up valuable space. Anyway, the beers: selection was ok, the ones we had were mediocre to good. No idea about food. Service, as described above, could have been better. I donít know if the place offers extra assets compared to other bars, other than that you can see the lager tanks.

Went here on a Saturday, took the free brewery tour, had some free samples and drank at the bar a bit. Itís a nice place to hang out and have a few. Really like yards, itís an awesome Philly staple. A must see right along with the rocky statue and the liberty bell.

Nice location near sugar house casino parking was easy on a Saturday ... tour lasted around 40 minutes and included a few samples of fresh yards .... guide was informative and took us from grains to packaging around the brewery .... nice clean brewery with a nice sized bar area ... a simple menu of some grubb like bison chili, sausage and soup most of the food is from local farms and is tasty ... definitely have to try the chili and of course fresh pints of yards on tap .... growler fills, cases, merchandise, keg fills all available ... they have a shuffleboard and 100 year old pool table to keep you occupied .... i bought a case and they mixed it with whatever I wanted for $32 bucks (including ales of the revolution) .... Nice place to visit... ***IMPORTANT NOTE this location on Delaware ave opened in 2008 ******

Visited the new location on Delaware Ave. this past summer (the day of the Harry Kalas memorial for all you Phillies fans). They were just getting the new place organized, but graciously hosted me, my father, and a few others on a tour (samples included). I checked back with them at Christmas and they said they will be filling growlers ASAP when they finish the tasting room. Picked up a variety pack of Revolutionary Ales while in Philly and was very impressed.

Great lil brewery. Staff was very welcoming. Tour was educational, very interested to see that you get to see entire process. I would recommend to anyone in the area. Somewhat off the beaten path but well worth it. Great beer selection and the "TJí is great. Overloaded my luggage trying to get some home!
