Large open space with a long bar in the back. Windows open to the brewhouse. A pretty eclectic group of employees and patrons alike. Has their normal stuff on tap plus a few variations of their brews and special batches you generally canít find elsewhere. It closes early so itís a good place to start the night before moving along to other Northern Liberties spots. Iíve yet to take the tour so canít comment on that but generally a good place to visit.

Very pleasant brewery to check out and definitely worth the visit if in Philly. They have a ton of stuff on tap usually, and when I was there they even did bottle pours of their grand cru available in sample flights. They seem to always have a section of go-to beers and supplement this with a bevy of specialty or seasonal brews. A lady at the front was handing out samples to people coming in from a bottle pour. Some of the beers are quite good, though they range greatly in quality. Staff was friendly.

Really open and loud (warehouse setup) which fosters a social/communal atmosphere. Beers are good...lots of options...tasty one offs. Super friendly service.

Nice location near sugar house casino parking was easy on a Saturday ... tour lasted around 40 minutes and included a few samples of fresh yards .... guide was informative and took us from grains to packaging around the brewery .... nice clean brewery with a nice sized bar area ... a simple menu of some grubb like bison chili, sausage and soup most of the food is from local farms and is tasty ... definitely have to try the chili and of course fresh pints of yards on tap .... growler fills, cases, merchandise, keg fills all available ... they have a shuffleboard and 100 year old pool table to keep you occupied .... i bought a case and they mixed it with whatever I wanted for $32 bucks (including ales of the revolution) .... Nice place to visit... ***IMPORTANT NOTE this location on Delaware ave opened in 2008 ******

For the second time in 4 days we went to a brewery and the place was rented for a private event. Since the private event was only in an hour, we were allowed a drink. Glad they had flights, I ordered one, only to find out they tried to get us out asap, which resulted in the waiter coming by our table every 5 minutes saying: "we will be closing up for the private event". In the end we were brushed out the door, even though there were only 2 persons for the private event, so it wasnít exactly as if we were taking up valuable space. Anyway, the beers: selection was ok, the ones we had were mediocre to good. No idea about food. Service, as described above, could have been better. I donít know if the place offers extra assets compared to other bars, other than that you can see the lager tanks.

Stopped in on a nice 95 degree day last Saturday with some buddies. very casual atmosphere. some people sitting at a small folding table with a few ice buckets full of different Yards bottles. pouring free samples of whatever they had. we waited for about 10 minutes when the main guy, sorry forgot his name, came and gave us a 25 minute tour of the entire brewery. at the end (we had the last informal tour) we sat around and were told to finish the few cold bottles they had sitting out. we shot the shit with the main guy talked about homebrewing and beers from everywhere. Outstanding service from the tour to the samples. while the bottles were nothing that we couldnít find at any local shop and they have no taps, despite the description, it was an outstanding experience. oh yeah, and it was like $24 for a case of most of their stuff. ps. in a very terrible and sketchy part of the city.

Visited on a Saturday and had a great tour, complete with a few tasters, then a number of glasses of both regular and special beers. Prices quite reasonable. Food is basically non-existent, but there was a BBQ truck parked outside where people would go. Place was packed, but last order about 7pm meant it emptied fast. Lots of Yards paraphernalia for sale too.
