Op het station van York in een prachtig houten gebouw met uitzicht over de perrons. Een mooie verzameling tap bieren en zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Jammer dat het qua eten blijft bij sandwiches en kleine pie’s.

Renovated part of York Railway Station previously used as a Model Railway shop, large selection of beer and lagers on cask, bottle and tap. A great excuse to change trains at York!

A superb conversion into a pub within York Station, it has a light and open feeling despite being in the covered area, you also get the feeling of being within a busy area. The beer range is excellent with choices for everyone. We both thoroughly enjoyed our first visits here.

First visited on 10th December 2012. Impressive conversion in a part of the historic station buildings, and only a two minute dash to the platform. The beer range is the best in the city, offering an eclectic choice of hand pulled, keg and bottled beers from all over the world. Definitely not to be missed when in York, and one worth missing the train for!

cool location inside the train station, which i enjoyed sitting out on the patio and watching trains come in. however I wasn’t impressed by no Wifi, halves were a higher price than half a pint for some beers. beer condition was mediocre- I don’t know if it was meant to be this flat. I will say beer was much warmer than I experienced in other parts of the UK

Convenient location in York station with large selection of cask, keg and bottled beers. Large room around central bar with cosy seats, tables & chairs plus outer area undercover in the station. Recommended.

Whoops saved it for last--could have saved a little more liver room for this place. Probably the world’s best train station platform pub. 20(?!) real ales and many more on draft. Nice variety. But do note, it has the grossest sounding food menu! Bright and airy, not exactly a traditional cozy local but still an excellent place.

My new favourite place. Great selection of beers on tap and bottles on a wine list type menu. Refurbished building is lovely. It;s a station pub! So what better whilst wiating.

The York Tap is conveniently located in York train station. For me this is the best looking of the "Tap" pub chain and probably one of the best looking bars in the world! It has been gloriously refurbished to a traditional style. The bar is circular which is also rather cool. Plenty of taps with interesting Northern English & Scottish beer on. Pretty decent bottle selection as well. Just a great place all-round. A must visit in York.
