The brewery has been in business for a month or two now. Just a couple of beers and a cider being brewed in the early days, with Rocks Brewing contracting a few batches here as well. Itís a nice setup with a large bar and seating right next to the brewing kit. Brewer Oscar is cool as fuck, and the guys here clearly love what they do. Do come and check em out.

We visited this microbrewery tap room on 14.2.2015. Located in the great district of Newtown, which has many great bars and restaurants. Next time I am in Sydney I will stay here over night. This is a real great beer place, nice brew house and real good tap room. Graffiti on the wall, nice T-shirts and great view to the brewery. They had around 6 beers on tap + 2 on the hand pump. The Hoppy Ale was my favorite one. Beers are more tasteful and more hoppy than the ones we had so far in Sydney. Also people quite nice, we got great recommendations for good beer bars and brewpubs in the area, people definitely love beer here. Best brewery we have visited so far in Australia.

A great beer drinking venue which is definitely worth a visit. All the beers I tried were excellent and - particularly the cherry saison. Its great being amongst the equipment while it is in use and to be served by the brewers. All in all one of the most pleasant venues Iíve had a beer in recent years.

A great place to visit for beer geeks and non beer geeks. In the back streets of newtown, a bit hard to find but worth the effort.

Visited on July 11, 2013.
Took the train from Sydney Central to Newtown, had a printed map with me and was a fairly short walk to get there. Looks like an industrial type or even alley type area.
Entry to the brewery from a type of courtyard.
7 beers on tap, you may get a 4 or 6 tasting paddle if you want. I managed to get to sample all 7 for the price of a 6 beer sampler.
Met Matt, Dan and the head brewer whoís name escapes me since Iím bad with names and didnít write it down.
Warm heater going that made me peel off some of my winter clothes.
The bar for tastings is set up right by the one side of the brewery, so you may watch them work as you sample your beers.
Nice and friendly blokes workign there, all of them seem to work in/at the brewery as well, so easy to ask questions. No problems paying with either cash or card. I didnít get any, but saw others come in to fill growlers. Donít think you can eat here.
Got some advice on places to visit in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Well worth getting the train out here for a visit!

Cool place that was tricky to find (Note: beside Yoga Studio), and looked small from the outside, but actually there is plenty of seating and friendly staff (everyone works at the brewery, but also pours beers for customers). The beers were just OK and fairly limited (4-5), but the Kellerbier we had was super fresh and was a great thirst quencher on a hot day. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Newtown, but not a must visit in Sydney for tourists.

Excellent local brewery in Newtown, tucked down the back in an industrial area. Bar setup is directly next to the tanks, which makes for a great and different experience. Richard and Oscar are great, very friendly and clearly passionate brewers who really know their stuff. Currently mostly a grower/cellar door type setup, you can walk away with a growler from 18.00 bucks for their lager (which is awesome, not some bland, tasteless water) up to 35.00 for their one-off speciality brews. (Which to date have all been delicious.) Definitely a must visit for the Sydney beer geek.
