Located in the very heart of the Old Town in Salzburg, this is essentially a beer hall with a restaurant and a patio. The selection is predictable: Zipfer, Stiegl and Gösser on tap lus a few domestic and German macros in bottles. Busy but polite staff. Decent, traditional Austrian food. Reasonable prices, given the location. Can be crowdy in the high season. Go there for lunch, not for the beer.

Pleasant low key pub with attentive staff. Very popular with the local folk. Don´t expect much in the way of beer though as there were only four taps of boring stuff. There is a food menu but I didnt eat so cant comment on that.
Typical German-style kneipe full of locals for the most part, but with quite a few tourists and students as well. Has a more formal restaurant part in addition to the pub. I found no particularly rare Zipfer beers here, but enjoyed myself anyway. Service was good.
