Probably the finest beer stop in Bavaria. Very personal service with a nice tour of the old brewery. We all had the schnitzel for dinner which was made with spent grains and it was unbelievable. The beer was out of this fucking world. Un-fucking-believable. You haven’t been on a German beer tour until you’ve come here. Thank you again, Andres!

I am very happy, next week i go back to Germany and will enjoy the fine beer and food, the good service and the very friendly Andi and Manu Gänsstaller. We spend every year our vacation near Bamberg and we go for years to the Zoiglstube, former by Beck and nou by Drei Kronen at Strassgiech. We cant wait to come back. Greetings from Frank and Diana We went back at 3 Kronen , the beer and food was the same high quality level as we known , Manu & Andi are the same warm, friendly and hard working people as alltime and the only bad thing we found is that Strassgiech is so far away from my hometown Waddinxveen, so we have to wait to next summer for our next Zoiglstubeexperience. Yeah Zoiglstube rocks!!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t put it into words. Perhaps the best beer in Germany at the moment, brewed and served by one of the most humble, friendly and genuine people I’ve ever met in the industry. And the food was legitimately some of the best I’ve ever had in Germany. Barley malt-crusted schnitzel hell yes.

simply amazing place with one of the best guy i never met in many beer trips in my life .. i’m talking about of andreas who is the owner and brewer .. i booked our table for a dinner and the experiance was truly amazing about beer , food and ospitality ... andreas and his wife offered us some beers plus the ones we ordered and helped us to find our bags we left in a bar the previous night.. everything has been simply perfect in this place !!

What a place! Our best Schnitzel during 4 days i Franken and an awesome Zoigl beer. Andreas Ganstaller showed us the museum brewery and we got to try some of the last drops of the Dark smoked Marzen. We also happened to meet by chance Frank Wetzel (Bierregion-Franken) Nice guy. I will return sometime in the near future. Thats for sure! (Visited April 27th 2012)

When there they only had their keller and a weissbier from another brewery, but Andreas was so kind to let me try his Green Gold IPA, the Quator and the Smoked Märzen. The garden is nice, the food is awesome and the staff is very friendly and nice (I never saw so many nice waitress all together!).

Both food and beer were outstanding. All in my group were extremly satisfied. The brewer himself came and showed us the historic beer celler with old brewery equipment. We also were introduced to some of his beer pals. A must visit! I have never tried such good beer my life.

A magical experience (at least until things got CRAZY busy later in the evening, which their small staff could hardly keep up with). Easily among the best brewers in Germany, Andreas Gänstaller is not only friendly and humble, two of the three beers we tried were 4.5 to 5.0 quality...just jaw-dropping. I didn’t write a review of the regular amber bock, and while it was quite pleasant it didn’t really inspire awe. The zoigl and smoked doppelbock on the other hand were INSANE. Just completely ridiculously amazing. 5.0 for the zoigl and 4.7 for the rauchdoppelbock. Charming small town, charming little pub, and really friendly/kind staff. Only one or two beers are available at any given time (at least when we visited), but the quality more than makes up for that. Food was basic Bavarian-style meat and potatoes (try Höhn for some truly wonderful, more varied types of food). The next time I visit Germany, which will hopefully be soon, I will be spending the bulk of my time drinking here.
