Well, this is a bit of an odd one. Due to a very restrictive schedule I managed to miss both of Jenaís brewpubs (and the one in Weimar), and looking at the pubs Iíve visited, this was the only one that seemed to stand out with its selection. This cellar pub, slightly dark, "overrun" by metalheads (props to a guy with a Kvelertak t-shirt) has 40 Czech beers youíll struggle and probably fail to find elsewhere in Jena, possibly even in most places in Germany. Experienced raters will struggle to find a rating here and most, nearly all are easily obtainable on a trip to Czech Republic - more or less mainstream stuff, happily oblivious to the beer "revolution" going on there. Self-service when I visited, with the (polite) bartender just pouring the beer from the bottle for you. It kinda lacks atmosphere... somethingís missing. Worth noting it for a change of pace.
