Nice place if a bit out of the way. Lots of variety and surprisingly quite a few hard to find or beers that are out of stock elsewhere. Pricing is a bit on the high side and when I was there it didn’t seem like they had a beer guy.

Great store, best outside of Quebec with very good selection from Quebec and from the NW USA. As good a place as some smaller US stores, which is saying a lot. Self-service. Always changing inventory.

Pretty awesome bottle shop - must be the best in Calgary. Extensive selection of imports especially, including Cantillon (quite a few on the shelf, though pricier than in BC). Some good Danish stuff too. Prices seem a bit steeper than Edmonton’s bottle shop but still not too bad. Service was friendly and attentive. A must stop when in Calgary.

Bigger floor space and shelf space for beer than any other store in Alberta. But does that mean the selection is better? Not necessarily. There are some items here that I haven’t seen elsewhere, but on the same note, there are things at willow, Kensington, and Sherbrooke that are not to be found here. Lagunitas products are a great example. They had New Dogtown Pale Ale and Tandem Brown, but nothing else by Lagunitas. I’m not at all complaining, just illustrating my point that even though the layout and selection are indeed impressive, it is not exhaustive. These guys are doing everything right though-- well-organized, well-displayed, lots of singles, decent number of 6-packs, lots of imports, competitive prices, beer tastings for $5 for five samples. shipping, knowledgeable staff. I’ll be back.

Best selection Ive seen in Calgary hands down, nice layout, but way too many dusty bottles and I dont know why more micros arent kept in the fridge instead of on the shelf. Staff werent particularly helpful or knowledgable (had no idea a new micro was opening in immediate future in Calgary), but maybe that was because we were there on a Monday afternoon. Despite the selection, I prefer Willow Park hands down for overall experience.

A great selection of Western Canadian, and foreign beer. The American craft selection is average, but overall the selection here is great. They have most of the good Canadian micros.

Very new. Trying very hard. Break up some higher priced mixed packs. An up and comer on the Calgary scene. I found beers here I did not see at Willow or Co-op. Somewhat weak on 6-packs; who wants a single of Brooklyn or Sam Adams?

Difficult to get to without a car but decent selection with some interesting harder to find brews. One guy was quite helpful and friendly while other guy was useless. Don’t stuff was pricey but some was reasonable... Sorta a mixmash depending on what you are looking for. Overall with visiting if you have the time and a car.

Probably the best place in Calgary. Tons of singles. Was able to get some beers for two dollars or so that I previously decided against buying at another location because it was sold only in sixers. Cheapish prices for the most part, great selection. The staff is well versed in beer. Definately will be back at ZYN!

One of the best selections in Calgary and up there with Kensington Wine Market and Willow Park, I dont think they have a beer fridge so all the beer is at room temprature, pricing is comparable with the other good stores in town, not quite as many exclucives as Kensington though, I believe they are in the old Molson brewery in inglwood, If you cant find it at Kensington Wine Market I would look there.
