The Good: Sells some rares.
The Bad: Lotís of dust on things, makes me wonder how theyíve been treated.
Selling Westvleteren 12 for $109 on Nov 23/13. I thought places signed an agreement not to price gouge on this. That price seemed to be $75 in Calgary.
Sells a 6 pack for one price, splits them up and charges more per bottle.
Website is offers things for sale they donít have.

Not a huge selection but the percentage of interesting brews is very high. The only guy working offered help if I had any questions.

Great selection. The guy that helped me was knowledgable and friendly enough. I will go back for more.

Nice place if a bit out of the way. Lots of variety and surprisingly quite a few hard to find or beers that are out of stock elsewhere. Pricing is a bit on the high side and when I was there it didnít seem like they had a beer guy.

Zyn is an excellent Beer and Wine store, definitely the best in the Calgary Area, in terms of selection and service. Unfortunately prices tend to run a little high here, but considering the massive inventory the store keeps, and the number of knowledgeable staff they keep on hand, it is forgivable.

A great selection of Western Canadian, and foreign beer. The American craft selection is average, but overall the selection here is great. They have most of the good Canadian micros.

Good selection. Kind of hidden in the back. Staff was knowledgable but rude. Hard to find store. Alot of dust on bottles. Sorry.

Best selection Ive seen in Calgary hands down, nice layout, but way too many dusty bottles and I dont know why more micros arent kept in the fridge instead of on the shelf. Staff werent particularly helpful or knowledgable (had no idea a new micro was opening in immediate future in Calgary), but maybe that was because we were there on a Monday afternoon. Despite the selection, I prefer Willow Park hands down for overall experience.

Stopped here while in Calgary on a quick work trip. I asked the staff to point me to any very limited or rare selections that I may be interested in. Staff was quite knowledgeable.
The prices were fair in comparison to similar shops, albeit still pricey. The selection was impressive. I was able to quickly find 7 bottles I had been interested in trying but not yet enjoyed.
My biggest detraction was that the majority of the beer selection was being kept a room temperature and I wanted to quickly get at a few in my hotel room. That being said, I honestly didnít even notice they had a cooler area but I am guessing it housed mostly macro beers.

One of the best selections in Calgary and up there with Kensington Wine Market and Willow Park, I dont think they have a beer fridge so all the beer is at room temprature, pricing is comparable with the other good stores in town, not quite as many exclucives as Kensington though, I believe they are in the old Molson brewery in inglwood, If you cant find it at Kensington Wine Market I would look there.
