16 Tons Taphouse & Bottleshop

Drove to Eugene specifically to visit here and get some special de Garde bottles. Tight space, but packed floor to ceiling. Taps too. Smaller than average, but all high quality stuff.

A small and quiet shop with a good selection of bottles, kept mostly warm, and a nice tap lineup. Few people here on a rainy weeknight. A few of the barkeepers friends showed up and service slowed a bit, but still solid. Nothing stands out here but it is a nice stop when in town.

A cool little bar/bottleshop near downtown. A small walk up bar and about 6 tables with shelves of beer throughout the rest of the smallish room. Bartender was attentive considering the decent sized crowd. 10ish beers on tap and a good selection of bottles. No food available and prices were inline with the area. A cool little spot.

Small beer store/ tap house with a few tables. Beer selection is limited but very good. Service was okay and prices were fair.

The taphouse on 13th is a definite "must stop" when I’m in Eugene. The selection of bottles is above par and the knowledge of the staff is excellent. On more than one occasion, I have been introduced to great brews that I would have not likely tried on my own. I highly recommend 16 Tons.

A decent sized selection of taps and bottles. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and will help you find exactly the beer you are looking for. The customer base is usually respectful young people.

Great place to relax and have a beer with friends. Great bottle selection very knowledgeable staff; however, sometimes they are not as open as I would like to sharing their knowledge

A small but very comfortable place to have a few brew with friends. Ten plus taps with a great selection. Nice variety of bottles and cans for sale on the back wall and in the cooler. A few hard to find beers for this area. Small seating area with buddy bars. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable.

close to ideal bottle shop / taproom. these are the types of places that are improving the already-stellar beer scenes in portland, eugene and other areas of oregon. fun, friendly and professional staff without pretense. solid bottle selection with rotating taps. i desperately need a place like this near where i live.
