58 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 11/20 b3shine (178) Cincinnati, Ohio | February 20, 2013 A bar that’s in Terminal B of the Charlotte Airport. Pretty much the same as the Carolina Beer Co in Terminal D, only with more space (and therefore a better atmosphere) and food (which I didn’t try). | 52 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 11/20 BVery (323) Burnsville, Minnesota | December 6, 2012 Flights of NC craft beers in an airport? We will take it! My Broncos are beating the Raiders, and I’m having a flight of new ratings. Everything else is pretty standard airport pub style. | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 11/20 nbutler11 (301) Phoenix, Arizona | November 18, 2012 Decent little airport pub. Foothills IPA on tap along with a few other locals. Can’t really knock an airport bar that’s at least willing to pour a flight of local craft beers. Food was blah, but what do you expect? | 54 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 ben4321 (163) Hoboken, New Jersey | September 30, 2012 (Terminal B). For an airport bar, not too bad. They have beers from OMB, Foothills, and Red Oak. You can’t have high expectation in the airport, but this one atleast exceeds those.
I’ve flown through the Charlotte Airport at least 100 times, granted I’m not usually trying to kill time, so I don’t usually stop for a beer, but the beer selection I’ve found is terrible. This is the best place I’ve found, but it still isn’t very good. If there is a better place it sure would be nice for people who know everything there is to know about the world to add it instead of insulting other community members for adding places that people may want to know about. When I’m in an airport I’d like to know what place has the best beer selection, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.
| 36 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 2/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 8/20 nearbeer (163) Knoxville, Tennessee | July 21, 2012| Updated October 17, 2012 Been here many times, but didn’t feel the need to disgrace myself with a rating on a site called "ratebeer". However since someone else started the madness, I’ll continue the descent. Choices are a bit limited in the CLT airport, but there are better places for beer if you have time between flights. The BBQ is OK. Update October 17, 2012: For the whiner from NJ who’s still learning how to use this site, here’s a spoonfeed for ya: a ratebeer rating for a much better place in the CLT airport! http://www.ratebeer.com/p/carolina-beer-company-charlotte-airport-charlotte/9660/ | 42 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 3/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 8/20 Travlr (999) Washington, Washington DC | July 16, 2012| Updated July 17, 2012 Two regional brews. Otherwise an underwhelming place, even by airport standards. |
