The only bad thing about this place, people can smoke in here. Ate at lunch. Great breat burger and onion rings. 20 beers on tap most are pretty creative and unique. Awesome list. Nice atmosphere other than the smoke. Quick service. Really enjoyed this place Best in Las Vegas by far.

A $25 cab ride from the strip ($38 if your cabbie gets "lost" like ours did), but we thought it was worth it. Great tap selection, all $6 (some are not full pints), and an amazing "reserve" list that goes back to 2004 for Stone Vertical Epic and back to XIII for FW Reserve. Our server was excellent, and we let her try a few of the bottles we purchased-- in return she generously gave us several free bottles of quality stuff (we did not hint or ask, she just brought them over). We devoured the spaghetti pizza (not gourmet, but freaking good!). It has a dark interior, but not intimidating or ugly. A few pool tables and flat screens. Funny mix of beer-geek crowd and local Bud Light retirees, but it added to the charm. Worth the journey off the strip-- we will return for sure.

The best beer bar in Las Vegas, hands down, with an excellent selections of taps and bottles, great events (Strong Beer Fest), good pub food (Arrogant Bastard Steak Wrap), good service (thanks "Sandra"). Dark ambiance with 80-90s rock, very cool.

Really good by both Vegas and general standards. Staff were attentive, nice and knowledgable. Sadly enough, the place is really off (15 min drive from the Strip, about $25 taxi ride). Too dark inside, but you get used to it. The selection wasn’t the biggest I’ve ever seen, but the bottles that they had were very well selected. Had a BBQ Chicken pizza that was OK. Cheaper than the strip.

Very dark video poker lounge with a nice selection of craft beers. All drafts were $6, only the size varied. I had a Stone Ruination 10th Anniversary and a NB Tart Lychee. I would have had a few more, but the service absolutely sucked. The only bartender would disappear for 10 - 15 minutes at a time while everybody at the bar sat their with empty glasses It was very disappointing. I finally got sick of it and my wife and I paid and left.

Visited during the Stone Stone Tap Takeover May of 2012. I was greeted by Kim who was very friendly and had a variety of suggestions for me from Stone. I tried 2 of there smoked porters and Ruination which were excellent. I noticed they had some great beers in the cooler. If I had a partner I would have indulged in some Firestone Anniversary beers or 2010 Abyss. Guess I’ll have to go back.

Got here by using the free shuttle bus from Downtown (back of California Hotel) to Sams Town and walked the mile or so from there. Late afternoon on a warm, sunny May day (2010). Couldn’t see a thing when we walked in, it didn’t get much brighter when our eyes adjusted to the darkness. As you enter there is a room off to your left, don’t stumble into there because it is just a space with tables and chairs in, you want the square shaped bar which is straight in front, lite by a few neon beer adverts and sports screens, it is down a couple of steps or a ramp. Lindsay looked after us and anybody and everybody else, about eight max during our three beer and meal stay. Rock music filled the room, not over loud, just enough so you couldn’t hold a conversation without raising your voice up a few decibel levels. I started with a pint of Rogue ’Dead Guy Ale’ which was delivered in a Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale glass. My wifes draught also came in the same branded glass as mine. My other two beers were just as good as the first, these coming from Joseph James and the Dogfish Head Brewery. Didn’t take note of the wifes beers, but they tasted good too (I always check out her beer, just in case it is poison or something). I ordered a basic burger and fries with everything, the wife a Garden Salad with Chicken, both were good, produced by an under worked (on our visit) cook. Well worth the effort to get here (3 hour drive to London, 10 hour flight, half hour taxi ride, half hour shuttle bus and half hour walk). It isn’t cosy, nor over friendly, we didn’t feel threatened or anything, it just seemed ’rough and ready’ more than ’welcoming’. Lindsay was fine, worried about her young son taking some girl to the pictures and chatting to a couple of regulars who were drinking bottles of Lite something or other. The draught beer selection however seemed very welcoming, the bottled choices challenging too, I’ll revisit if I ever return to LV.

Pretty cool place that has a large bar and about 20 taps. Several beers are unavailable in Arizona so that was a treat. They do growlers of all beers which is pretty nice. I got a burger and I would say its above average. The single biggest drawback is the smoking locals who seems to like chain smoking.

Feb 2012. I’d sum up my thoughts about this place like this: it’s too bad it’s in Vegas. Unfortunately what would otherwise be a pretty cool beer bar has to fit the suburban Vegas mold, with video poker machines built into the bar, incessant smoke, weird lighting, and an ubiquitous blinding array of flat panel TVs, in an old stand alone bar that’s seen it’s better days, on the eastern edge of the Vegas sprawl. I visited on a weekday night, fairly early. The small crowd was certainly all local, and was evenly split between Bud Light drinkers and folks who seemed to be exploring new beer frontiers. The bar staff was super, super friendly and actually quite personable which is nice novelty in Vegas. The beer list was sturdy -- certainly the deepest draft lineup I’ve seen in town, as the availability list here illustrates. Although I didn’t eat, the menu looked to offer standard pub fare. Go for great service and hard to find beers, but expect that murky, off-strip feel.
