Best Pub in NSW, Brilliant food (please try their beef wagyu burger). Great selection of rotating beers on tap, I even has lucky enough to go when they had Westmalle triple on tap!

Unfortunately for beer aficionados in Newcastle the Albion is not as good as it used to be. They still have a great craft selection but nothing compared to their previous selection. There is far too many subpar ’craft’ NSW brewers on tap. Needs more international beers with a little more variety in the offerings (not just pale ales).

The place to go in Newcastle for Craft Beer. Rates up there with the best in NSW, and Australia, for selection of beers and beer events. Rotating taps, particularly supportive of local beers. Regularly holds beer dinner and events. Wine selection and food also very worthy of note. Very knowledgable staff and relaxed atmosphere, particularly compared to similar establishments in Sydney.
