As has been noted, primarily a wine store, but the beer seems well-selected, and they have enough large format and six packs to at least satisfy this out-of-towner - prices seemed average - nice selection of high-end snack foods and such - friendly staff - it’s an upscale neighborhood liquor store in with a selection slightly better than your average upscale neighborhood liquor store - so, it’s very Arlington, or whatever - okay shop.

Parking was challenging during the early afternoon. Service was good. Selection was pretty good, however I did not find anything to buy. Pricing seemed going rate.

Good selection of unusual beers from around the nation and the world. Great selection if you are a Maryland resident who has come over the Potomac to find some interesting brews.

Nice wine/meat/cheese/beer shop. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. Selection is small but excellent. Prices seem about average. I think this pap deserves a lot more love than it gets.

Primarily a wine store, with an aisle of beer. Interesting selection of American craft, English and Belgian beers. Staff is very friendly, prices are reasonable. Good stop.

Nice little shop in Arlington with an assortment of cheese, wine, beer, and other snacks/food items. Beer selection is pretty good and regularly updated with new releases and restocks. They also have a cooler with beers. Nice variety of both domestic and import craft beers, along with occasional limited releases. The beer buyer Nick is really cool and happy to talk beer and make suggestions. Great cheese selection and the guys behind the counter are always willing to suggest cheeses and give samples before you buy. Prices are pretty good on beer and cheese prices are about average to a bit pricy. Free short term parking in front of the store. Also a larger lot in the back.

Overall, I really love this place. It’s only about a block away, so it’s super convenient to get to. Nick (the beer monger) is a really great guy. You ask him about a beer? He’s most likely had it, and can give you a valid idea of what it’ll be like. He’s also just a really friendly guy (same goes for the rest of the staff). Haven’t had the food, but they have tons cheeses, meats, and other things.

Fantastic selection, better prices than surrounding stores. Lots of stuff not found rlsewhere. Extensive selection of cheeses and meats, far better than Whole Foods with way better pricing. Very helpful and friendly staff. Whats not to like?

Although mainly a wine store, the beer selection has been constantly improving and is now quite impressive. They certainly have way more than the 50 indicated in the description. Nick, the beermonger, seeks out hard to find and interesting beers. Ratings from a few years ago are no longer valid.

Walked in during the middle of one of their free tastings so it was a mob scene by the door (why the tasting was by the main entrance instead of the middle of the store where it was empty, I have no idea...). Beer selection was good for the amount of space they devoted to beer, but as a wine and cheese shop, beer really comes off as an afterthought. 4 upright soda coolers devoted mostly to 6 packs with some bombers and 750s. Prices seemed reasonable. Free blue cheese definitely made it a worthwhile stop, but if it wasn’t on the way to something, I wouldn’t stop here. Probably good for locals, or for wine people grabbing some micro sixes for company, but not really a beer store.
