76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Fatehunter (32) Corbett, Oregon | January 4, 2013 Their tasting room is located at 304 E Hopkins Ave, Aspen, Colorado.
They had ten of the their beers on tap with a few others in sixers and bombers to-go. Between my brother and I, we had four of their beers and all of them were good. It’s a small space so quite the slopes a little early to get a seat. They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. A must-visit if you’re in Aspen for some good beer. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 soul11man (54) Portland, Oregon | August 18, 2011 These guys have done a great job carving a niche for themselves in this high dollar town. They had some hassles to overcome when opening but now they are a staple, and last I heard expanding. A great hole to drink away your snowboarding pains or relive your glorious rides. Has a nice downhome feel that is certainly hard to find in Aspen. Definitely not uptight or pretentious. The beers are a little pricey but hey...it is still Aspen. You never know who you are sitting next to here...could be anyone. Can get crowded but an expansion should take care of that. Nice bartenders, good service. | 76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 TheEpeeist (17) Swarthmore, Pennsylvania | July 13, 2011 Stopped in after hiking the Government Trail from Snowmass. Tried the Red, IPA and Pilsner; all fresh and reasonably priced. The place wasn’t very busy and chatted with the bartender and a girl from Texas while watching Le Tour. Outside second floor seating offers spectacular views. My only complaint was it seemed a bit rundown. They’ll be canning soon in the business park across from the airport so hopefully they can freshen it up. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 sheanb (4) Aurora, Colorado | March 15, 2011 LOVE this place. Every time I get to Aspen I am able to take my dog in sit and have a brew while visiting my brother in-law. The dog friendly alone makes it a true diamond in the rough when it comes to the Aspen elite scene. Never had a bad brew and servers are always friendly and close by :). | 76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 adnielsen (325) Fort Collins, Colorado | October 13, 2010 Kinda neat brewery to hit in Aspen. You can get a sampler tray that looks like a ski! The beers aren’t too shabby. The place is tiny and you may have to put up with Aspen snobs while there. | 82 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 potbeerjob (21) Denver, Colorado | January 11, 2010| Updated November 22, 2011 I hang out here often while i am in aspen because they are the only brewery in town, but also due to the fact that they brew some good beers. Duncan, Rory and Brad (owners) are great guys and very willing to chat about their beers. It is a very small and cozy place where the beer is brewed right next to where you sit down and enjoy it.Visiting this place is a must if you are staying in the Aspen/Snowmass area. | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 bvelt (1) Aspen, Alabama | August 24, 2009| Updated November 22, 2011 Great beers, great place. There’s a cabinet full of board games and it’s dog friendly. Very unique in a town like Aspen. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 Jwjeep (10) Rifle, Colorado | March 29, 2009| Updated November 22, 2011 Good group of guys, trying to make it in a very difficult place. They turn out some pretty good beers, the head brewer is from the pacific northwest so he’s big on the hops. Stop by and talk to them, they’re always there and the brewhouse is open to the tasting room. | 60 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 waolsen (64) Littleton, Colorado | February 10, 2009| Updated November 22, 2011 Brewery. 1 block behind the Jerome tucked away. Small place with nice atmosphere. Bar seats about 8 with a few tables by the windows. Generally have 6 taps. Owners are knowledgable and enjoyed talking about their beer. Definitely worth a stop when in town. A value for Aspen. | 64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 BeerandBlues2 (457) Hanover, Maryland | September 1, 2008| Updated November 22, 2011 Small brewery just off the main drag in Aspen.
