Nice cousy bar in the heart of the city. But a litte bit hidden. So not to many tourists here. Good. Ok beer selection.

One of Oslos oldest beer (and whisky) bars that used to be one of the few places you could hope to find Nøgne Ø and HaandBryggeriet on bottle. There is still a decent selction of bottled beers and there is usually one good craft beer on tap. Unfortunately, the place has not kept up with the rapid development on the beer scene in Oslo, so the selection feels a bit limited compared to all the new beer pubs popping up around the city. It’s still worth a visit though, and it still is thee place for cigar smokers.

Intimate, relaxed and cozy bar in the city centre. Not the widest selection of beer, but usually of excellent quality. Very nice whisky selection and friendly staff.

Nice place. Many interesting people (mostly from the music industry). Always something good on tap. Budweiser from the Czech Republic is always on tap. Cognac and cigar selection is also good. Good service!

Small location in the city center. Decent beer selection thou the staff (young girl behind the bar) didnt have any beer knowledge at all. Owner seems like a nice guy who likes to sit down and have a chat with his customers.

Intimate, centrally located bar with a few good bottles and two taps, at my last visit they were Budvar and Haandbryggeriet Pale Ale. You may get to listen to your favourite CD in the bar, or some Ipod music in the mostly enclosed smoking room.

A small place hidden away from the crowds with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Offers a decent selection of beers, and even sometimes casks!

A modern bar "sandwiched" between modern office buildings. Only two beers on tap, but Herslev Økologisk Juleøl was outstanding! We met the owner who is a beer, cognac and cigar enthusiast. We came for an early "night cap" but ended up staying there for nearly 3 hours. Many nice people among the regulars. (Visited November 23rd 2010)

Small place located very close to Håndverkstuene. Very talkative owner that sat down with the guests. Most of the guests where regulars and it seemed that most knew eachother. The guests even hooked up their own Ipods to play music in the stereo system. Nice service. Decent selection of beers, some norwegian micros but also some interesting beers on bottles.
