Pretty cozy bar hosted in the old Haga cinema. Plenty of local craft beer including beers from local breweries that brew almost exclusively for them. Interesting but not something I currently go out of my way to visit.

Located in an old movie-industrial like red brick building. A nice place with a welcoming change from the often overly crowded Järntorgetd area. Nice outside area with small and cozy bar area. As a mostly young vibe. Menu is vegetarian only, did not eat but the food smelled and looked quite tasty. Beer selection is rather small with 3 beers brewed exclusively for Bar Kino.

70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20
Smallish and cosy pub located on street level at Hagabion, classic movie theater. Youngish crowd, I’d guess more to the culturally interested part, perhaps even more to the left side in politics too, but who cares, they’ve got beers!
Not that big, but popular, gets crowded fast.
A few draught beers that rotate, a couple of bottles that holds rather nice variety. A while back (end of April 2012) first and only bar who served beers from new local microbrewery Vega in Göteborg.
Not sure they serve Vega any longer, but they have a new brewery, Stigbergets, and last night packed three of their beers and seem to experiment a bit for now with variants.
Good fast service, attentive and informed staff.
Nice place close to Järntorget and the Långgatan streets, easily included in a pub crawl with eg Plain Kitchen, Old Beefeter Inn, Linneterassen, Gyllene Prag and then further down towards the water also The Rover, Ölstugan Tullen, Bishops Arms Järntorget, Haket and many others.
Located at tram and bus stop Prinsgatan, but is a short walk from Järntorget that is even more easily accessible. Have not tried eating, but have had beers here a few times, can get quite filled up and is rather popular. Have outdoor seating when it’s season for such things.
As with all bars and pubs and restaurants in Sweden it is smoke free.
I think there’s only one toilet, so don’t wait until you’re in panic to export your beer, if there’s a line you’ll be waiting.

66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20
The only place sofar that serves beer from the Vega Brewery. Apart from that a standard bar with a quite nice outdoor-section. 6-8 taps, never checked for a bottlelist and did not eat.

Easily acessable with tram 1 and 6, car parking below (if your not drinking). Come early, since it’s wee and popular it will fill up quickly, Staff is friendly and the service is quick. According to the reviews it has one of the best vegitarian food selections in town. And at the moment the only place were you could find beer from the new local brewery Vega.
